I love the girl sunbathing with the gasmask. Great idea.
This original work was done while trying to emulate the style of one of my favorite artists, Sparth
Wow I'm impressed with the progression of your work. What tablet do you use? Great stuff, keep it up!
Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.
And one from life in Painter - 2 hours I got sucked into getting a face likeness.....

I have been experimenting with camstudio to critique my working habits, I will start posting time lapses of paintings I do. These are not meant to be a tutorial, like I said they really are for me to improve myself, but I thought some people may enjoy seeing them.

First painting of the new year. From life, 3 hours in Painter X, I feel like one of my best to date. I have been on a pencil to paper drawing binge lately, so expect less painting updates for a while.
Tom! How the hell are you!? I am going to UofU Saturday mornings...
You should come, then I won't be the only hung over life drawer!

Good posts dude,
you really have a thing for Sparth eh?
Channeling him isn't a bad idea I guess, can only hope that something springs out of emulating him for you.
2 things i'd do, more concrete shadows and placing speculars, you have to be quite precise about the lighting but i think it's worth it to really make things pop and give them depth.
Some good ideas floating around anyway.
p.s. how the hell did you get your dog to pose for you ? xD
you've been arting since 2006! this is great stuff!!!
keep those figure studies coming! i lovee figure studies
and see you at the workshop, dood!!
Still drawing and painting my days away, although I spend a lot more my of time doing music and riding as well.... here is a sample of what I've not been sharing
