Hey everyone.
Ariel - Looks like I disappeared for a while after all. I beg your forgiveness
Steveland - Yup, he was indeed. Thanks for visiting.
bish0p2004 - Thanks, I like the ones you mentioned too. And I hate the paintings on the first pages.
Ivan_kolor - Thanks. Yeah, I have to go back to figure studies. I'll try to make time for it sometime soon.
So, I've been busy with work lately. I looked through my stuff yesterday and I was quite surprised how much I produced recently. All work stuff though, and I'm not going to post all of it, not now anyway.
Here are 3 cards I did some time ago for this game I've been working on for about a year now. It's always fun, and when I look at the older ones that I posted here a while back it seems like I've improved since then. A little.
And next are 3 portraits I managed to squeeze between work. I like painting portraits, especially of those beautiful girls I know, so expect more to come if they come out alright. Beautiful girls are hard to paint, so I feel like I fail more often than not.
EDIT: If your portrait is not anywhere in this thread yet, it doesn't mean you're not beautiful. I probably haven't succeeded in painting a good enough portrait of you yet.
Okay, that's a lot of text for me. I think I'll shut up now and go back to painting. Take care everyone. I'll take a look at all your sketchbooks and try to offer something constructive.

Hey, thanks for stopping by my sketchbook! Just showing some love... you have some really good stuff here... the Eskimo painting and the ice wizard ones are awesome. Thanks for the tips.
What?! No boobs or great male abs? Why did I even bother visiting? :p
No, but seriously, great job, particularly with metal, as always![]()
ThePureJT : Thanks. Good luck with painting!
Justyna: Yeah, sorry about that. I guess you won't be too happy about this update either.
Anyways, here are a few more cards I did lately. I also did a lot of other stuff for work, but it's not really showable, 'cause it's UI elements and such.
I am also painting backgrounds for some other game, so I'll maybe show some of them if I get clearance for that.
And one more portrait for the series.
Also, if you guys want to witness pure awesomeness, you can do so every thursday at 9pm EST at the Awesome Horse Studios' livestream.
Don't know who they are?Check out their website.. Now!
Okay, have a good day everyone. Cheers!

Hey everyone!
Thanks for being here, sis, Rob Powell and dierat.
Ok, so 2012 has come and I've got some resolutions this year, and they include updating regularly, painting environments, designing characters and quite a lot of other stuff. I'm going to be busy, but you'll get to see more from me more often. Sounds good?
So here's what I have to show you after the first 2 weeks of 2012:
Let's start with environments. I submitted this one to Awesome Horse Studios for critique, and below is how Noah Bradley made it awesome.
And here I tried something new. If you flipped through this thread you probably noticed I don't paint sci-fi that often.
And now the characters:
I also have a few sketchbook pages filled with human and animal anatomy and gesture studies but I haven't scanned them yet.
Okay, that's it for now. Stay tuned - moar art is on the way.
Cheers and thanks for watching!

More sci-fi environments!
I like your character designs :]
Woah, lot of great stuff from imagination! I should learn from you![]()
I like your idea of the sophisticated ork.
Thats some awsome still life going on. Your work compositions are really good too, really solid characters.

Great work you've got here. I really like the armor and mechanical designs. That paint over you got looks so cool! Was it an event they were having? Or is that how Awesome horse studios always rolls?
Thanks for visiting, guys! It's great to not be alone here all the time.
Justyna: Yeah, hopefully next time. Thanks!
vanaga: Thanks! I think you should find someone better to learn from though
MellowPsycho: Thanks, I'm glad you do. It was fun.
project_razor: I like still lifes. I really need to find more time for those. Thanks!
MoKhi: Thanks! That's how Awesome Horse Studios' livestreams always are. There's always some paintover-type critique part of something someone submitted via WIPNation, and then there's a demo by one of the horsemen. Sometimes there are some special events too. If you can make it, be sure to check it out Saturday at 2pm EST. AHS website
Also, I'd like to say, as someone who just loves to paint portraits, that you draw some amazingly interesting faces in your sketchbook's early pages, so I'm going to check it out as soon as I have a little more time, which should be tomorrow night.
Okay, so, thanks again for stopping by, everyone! Here's a piece I did last week, I think. I don't have anything else interesting to post at this moment, but I have a few things cooking, so expect another update from me sometime later this week.
Cheers!

Nice work !! Is this all digitally generated artwork?
TArnell: Thanks. Yes, everything on the last couple of pages is digital.
Okay girls and boys, here's some more eyecandy. Nothing too cool this time, though, mostly just studies, but I promise to post something fun later this week. Okay, no promises, but have hope, I'll do my best.
Right, so, the stuff:
That Bouguereau study could obviously use some more work, but I'm calling it done. I don't have time to work on it anymore now and I feel like I learned a ton or two already.
That's all folks! Cheers!

Hey, it's me again with some new art.
Jellyfish are so much fun to paint! You should try it!
Another weekly environment. Not that happy with this one. I'm going to have to try something more dynamic next time.
Cheers!

Yeh man thanks for the critique a couple o' weeks back.
some really good strides youve made since the first page; so keep on striding!
I really like the form you have in 207; i think its the best example of portrait in you sb so far. My only real critique would be that some of your soft particle stuff like clouds looks like is rendered with a chalk brush; wich is fine as they do have hard edges but also are soft as well (the last image has better form) also in your card stuff a lot of the groud has no reall character to it; just looks like a base colour with some loose marks. Im not saying render the hell out of it; just more consider it a bit more maybe.
All in all however your doing some great stuff so keep doing what your doing!
Woah! impressive work!
Your environments have a very interesting composition, keeps the eye moving (:
But..I have no critique D:
Keep going!
an interesting variety of illustrations. uhm.. can't wait to see more.

Hello, girls and boys!
I'm back with a nice-sized update today! First, though, let me thank all of you who visited.
Huduu - Thanks. It's a study of Bouguereau's painting.
dog-faced - Thanks, I'm striding all right. Ain't gonna stop now. Also, thanks for the crits, you were right about both those issues.
Jarkuzy - Thanks. Compositions are hard.
poetry man - Today is your licky day! Here's more stuff
Okay, so let me start with my first ever personal fantasy illustration that I did a few weeks back:
It was tons of fun. I'm hoping to get back to doing this kind of stuff as soon as I have the time. In fact, I just found a piece I'd been working on and completely forgot about.
Ok, next. Weekly environment #13:
And two portraits, because I like doing portraits. You might recognize the guy.
And, last but not least: folds studies. I actually did some more studies of various other things, but I don't feel like posting that stuff.
Thanks for watching! See you next time!
EDIT: Ooh I forgot! I have one more:
Okay, that's all. Have a nice day!

Nice studies you have here! But in your concepts i miss the life. They seem rather stiff, and i think you could do much more with the lightning everywere!![]()
Those jellyfish look really really awesome!
Try applying the colour variation to your envos as well? Would be interesting to see![]()
What? No updates?! :>
Beautiful and inspiring sketchbook.
I love your portraits, as well as the environments.. and the studies... oh well
Time for an update in here!![]()
