I always find my self coming back to edit this

My name is Nibras and I am an aspiring concept artist and illustrator. In general just an aspiring artist. When I started this sketchbook I had only just become interested in art, I've never taken art lessons before and it wasn't something I really did as a kid so it was a fresh experience. I was also 14. I guess from that lack of knowledge I made a lot of mistakes, put myself through hard times and generally didn't do the best I could have. After that I had a lot of time where I regretted this but as I grow older I learn more & more thing and understand that art is all passion. Now, I am making up for lost time but even still I wouldn't take any of it back, even if I could be a billion times better by now.

My sketchbook is as much a journal as it is a showcase of my art. Sure I am not proud of my earlier works or even my attitude back then but it's always good to look back at where I came from. In honesty, don't take the beginning of this sketchbook seriously because really I was just a kid and I didn't know what I was doing.

Hey, that's not too bad in my point of view.
I think the point of doing hand study, can help you figure out what you are lack with. I did the same study yesterday, so check it out later (probably midnight I'm afraid, cause I'm still working on my another character). It was quite frustrating for me in the beginning, but then I try to note down where gone wrong and study the anatomy book a bit. It's always a good thing to note down your thought when you are working on it.
I think you have the basic idea about light, shade and form, and that's good enough to keep evaluate on it as long as you pay attention to the line quality.

If you wanr to study human anatomy you are best of looking into getting an anatomy book by either adrew Loomis, Burne Hogarth or bridgeman. Study hard to improve and also draw from life but never stop enjoying art and never see it as a chore. Try to draw everyday for at least an hour. Good luck.

yea but i can't really look at naked peepz the best to do is to look at posemanics and trust me i tried alll this stuff LOL, nd i can't go to classes well... cuz theres naked people XD

Don't be ridiculous, of course you can do anatomy, there isnt all that much nudity and its hardly graphic. If you are offended by the human body then art will be a very difficult thing to persue.

Yo lil first congrats cose i can see slight progress in ur works but without anatomy human or rather creature drawings will never be correct (unless u are an art mesiah).

OK just tell him that there is A SECOND FREAKIN BERLIN WALL between art and porn if he is so straight headed (by saying this i don't want to insult your father by any means, don't get me wrong). And if he still looks at u with a grin, then just threaten him that either this (i mean art) or u will become urologists. Just kidding he he

No, really, Andrew's books are nothing about male and female organs (in fact i haven't noticed them at all). They are more about muscle system how it works and proportions in movement. If u are looking at this all way then it shouldn't bother u, otherwise u could imagine me drawing naked guys and what my parents reaction to this might be First time it was funny for me, then it was funny for them and now it is normal for both sides.

During the dinner i even asked my sisters boyfrend to pose for me....aw man u should have seen his face (it was a joke, but i don't remember ether my sisters boyfriend didn't understood that, or he just used oportunity to spit out my sisters overkooked meat ).

Last advice if u dont want to study body anatomy yet, just try to get andrew loomis books on "Drawing hands and face" they specialize in anatomy of face and hands (fingers, palms, nails......NO NIPPLES) with that book studied your mind should be "equipped" with enough "understanding anatomy of hands ammo" to draw nice hands (both female and male) so keep up and good luck.

ty load beo, but i do want to study it.. well because i don't find that much wrong with the human figure but Im not alloweed to nothing done really but i will try to study anatomy thanks

Sorry i took so long i was just thinking where to start on human anatomy, so i started on the skeleton and instead of drawing the whole thing am drawing parts of it and studying them then later i will draw the full thing.

Just keep practicing, and get various subject!.

Thanks right now i want to get anatomy, so am starting with the bones and skeleton and stuff next hands and arms

yo, it's me again. Got one thing to say no matter what u draw (this thing applies only for organic shapes): bones, muscle, flesh watch for curves, never draw straight lines (even a slight curve can give u a better view), because your drawing will look static and flat. Just try to look at humans (ok, u can look at animals too) and notice that when they are moving their body becomes more or less curvy.
And another thing is that i don't think u should get that deep into anatomy and draw such detailed bones (unless u are going to draw skeletons for the rest of your life ;( , and with that i don't mean u shouldn't learn skull construction) just get the basic shapes of the bones and that will be enough for you. In the end i strongly suggest u to try that looms technique. Otherwise keep up.

W00T am on a row lol i've done quit alot of sketches today... like i do everyday but you don't get to see most of them.
Well pelvis as i said now but this time i tried to follow Beo advice and make it simple and just get the outline i think i might do some works on arms after this but today is pelvis day XD!! 2mro will be arms and hands after that legs and feet and am finished with the body and there comes the fun part with the smexy muscles I adorrrrrrre them>>!!!.
Time Taken on These is About 2-3 mintues for each pelvis drawing.

Well after i've studied torsoes and pelvis am gonne try it from memory so heres how it turned out i think am gonne do a lil bit more on the torso

Well am using some of andrew loomis' techniques for the torso and hip bones thanks to unsharpened LOVE U!! lol i find them quit helpful i might use the bones and muscle thingys for studies. Hope fully i'll get more comments ...

Hey! Thanks a bunch for the nice comment in my book! I really appreciate it. It's good to see you doing all of these studies. You're definately on the right track, and so young, too! One piece of advice might me to have some longer, more flowing lines.. try to capture the from in as few strokes and possible, that may really help you understand things better.

well heres some more studies i finished with the torso and hips and am finishing off the arms think am gonne use andrew loomis' basic mannikin for the bone structer cuz it basically covers everything but am still doing the rest for legs & feet the structer thingy i done sucked am still practising it.

your getting off to a nice start, if you want to fill in some of your sketches with color, try messing with tones and true coloring, so that way you can be practicing coloring, and drawing at the same time
