Saint & the Ocean

Hey! I keep losing my sketchbooks, so I made another one. But this time I have a goal hehe.

I'm working on an anime called Saint & the Ocean, and I want to do some illustrations.

so here they are. =)


I'll post the illustrated one after I've finished.

I realise that I suck at colouring, but practise makes perfect as they say. >_<




this is just a character for my childrens book, hopefully in the future I'll add more detail and use better colours.

this one was completely random and took like 8 minutes to draw, a little longer to colour but as you can see it's incredibly messy.



here's just a few basic line art's, didn't take long to do, but plenty of redoing lol

here's the basic outline of it all, a young girl is followed around by a gaurdian angel after her parents die, it's going to be based in a place other than japan but she is from japanese descent, and as she has no real recollection of who she is, it story will be about her finding out who she is and trying to get away from the people who killed her parents.

That pretty much sums it up.

Here's an angel picture I just did, took over all 4 hours, the most I've ever put into a line art drawing. xD

I love this one, I managed to make it actually stand out, was done in photoshop and took a good 2 and a half hours.

I'm not sure if the last few ones should go into 3D & sculpture, I dunno if they're 3D... feel free to share you're opinion.
