Nice SB. I hit the anatomy books as often as I can. They are a great way to study without having inspiration. Awesome worx all together. Definitely a 5 star thread. Cant wait for more.

    how truely intruigable

i see a certain regression towards the end of your work, towards something more formal and constructive and i must proclaim that one must seek the ever transitory form of nothingness. the idea is that form is emptyness and it is blatant that you are digressing from this intrinsic matter.

Whoa man, your rendering skills are extremely sick. Ever get much life drawing in? It can be fun and invigorating when the Hogarth studying gets a tad stale. Plus it's part of a balanced daily breakfast.
And those really are damned fancy sketchbooks!
Very awesome stuff man, keep it up.

Great SB. Dig the acrylic and venom page, but silent velcro has to be my favorite. That one gave me a good chuckle. Your pencil work is awesome, please post more!

erm, bit of a time out again, so this time i'll make no promises eh...

anyway, this is just a real brief selection of what ive been up to. moleskine spreads are recent, character designs fairly recent, and other schtuff is coupla months old or so.

aefx: cheers fella, haven't really been doing in depth pencil studies for quite some time now, probs should get back into the habit of doin em again. as for the mix of styles, just haven't found the groove yet, just gotta keep workin at it from different angles i guess.

monotony: thanks man. the fashion newspaper stuff is done with scotch tape, using that to pull the print off newspaper, awesome technique for when ya get bored and frustrated, and wanna try summat new.

    more moleskin pages for today...
    1. sandman-inspired spread. used references for the kids, kinda phucked up the middle one, and then used the reference much more loosely on the bigger kid, worked out much better
    2. ross noble kinda charicature.
    3. head on the left is without reference, hence screwed up proportions, head on the right is my lil bro.
