ok well i decided, i might as well start this sketchbook off with all the old work ive never showed. I believe after this dump that is all i have to show, and after this post, it will be studies and projects from now on. I really hope you all enjoy this dump.
NOTE: some of the acrylics are still WIPs, such as the portraitskull and the red wolf.

The belly studies are really helpful, so thank you. And a great start for a sketchbook altogether.
Awesome work you have here man. Thanks for stopping by the book too. Great value sketching.
I am fully aware that the arm study on the left is in horrible proportion, that is why I have all the notesSeeing if I can speed up my sketching time, trying to get lines right the first time, obviously I have alot of work to do with my accuracy.

The pencil sketch of the girl with the scarf is beautifully handled....
a sketch from a loooong time ago, that i think is worth finishing, and another arm study I just finished, graphite, prismacolor marker, and white charcoal

Hey, I like your focus on studies. Something i could use myself again. Atm I'd just say keep it up - maybe do some studies from life in graphite, but I think you're going in the right direction.
good studies especially the torsos. i like that medusa-haired werewolf creature/person in the latest update, interesting design, tho the musculature needs some work (which i'm sure you already know, from the nice muscle studies you've done)
keep posting![]()
hmm tired, have to go to work... nothing serious on this update ... just what i have of a doodle to release stress.. more studies coming soon.

Okay...Now I really have to buy acrylics!
Thanks...I've been using oils for studying grayscale and it just won't dry fast enough. I've read that some artist use this as a base then overlay the oils later on when finishing up. Seems like a smart process.
You are doing great studying it from real life painting experience and getting that technique digitally!
Subcribing here!
Hi I love your new sketchbook.![]()
Really like your digital work. you are really starting to get a good feel for black and white levels. Somthing I have to work with.
The only crit I can give is that this last anatomy drawing of a right arm looks broken in some places. 1st, it looks like the upper arm is to long and it looks like the deltoid is a part of it. like it melted and is on its way down over the upper arm. 2nd, The elbow is coming out almost on the side of the arm, If you used a ref picture I would really like to se it to get a better grip on where it went wrong. It could be that the Supinator is attached a bit to far up on the humerus (upper arm bone). This might give you some advise to how its conected Supinator

Its a nice start, I like the fact that your trying to learn advanced anatomy. most Anatomy studies that are common in art is propotional anatomy drawing, like, how the the human shapes look. how the shapes move and interact with each other. But your going "dr latin" style on the subject. BTW I'm not that good with the names for the bones and muscels, I get a lot of help from my girlfriend hwo is studying medical anatomy. Im more the kind that want to know how shapes look and how the body works.you got a nice SB and I'll be back to check your udates. I hope this has been helpful in some way.
Cheers!

Nice movement in your brushstrokes. Try to communicate that to your drawings.

ok so heres a 2 min sketch before work, im tryin to get down a good simple sketchin process that allows me to be quick and loose, so i can spend more time on rendering, while being acurate with the linework...
AND
if you can please comment on my last post i would be very grateful.

nice work on the colored demon, your blocking technique is improvingmaybe some construction lines would help on the demon's face cos his eyes seem slightly not aligned. good stuff with the 2min sketch
The studies are good and show nice improvement. Keep going with them and continue to suppliment your digital work with traditional medium. You might want to try adding more water to your acrylics or try guache. That way you can have a little more flexability.
