Hey, Hurley!! Great to see you again! I was wondering how things were going! As far as your exam, congratulations!!! I never heard of A1 for a mark, so I had to figure out if it was a great thing. Ha ha!

I'm glad your back into the groove again!! You shade wonderfully--the blends are convincing and the colours are full of life!

For the painting, the progress is really nice! Parts of him are popping off the page! I only have a problem about his left shoulder. It looks more stuck to his neck than it should be. Could be the flat colour giving off that impression, though.

Anyway, I hope to see you at my lonely SB! Ha ha! I haven't been able to do much cuz of school. LOTS of school.

Wow nice stuff man. The pencils are on the right track and still have room for improvement with regards to getting just the right amount of contrast. Ideally you want to have some area left white and some areas as dark as you can get them. Then just get the balance with thevalues inbetween right.

What really impresses me is the digital paintings. I would just post the fightclub one agan, not in a link, because I don't tink many people have seen it.

Oh yeah, and you asked me if I'd got the life drawing classes yet, well, you basically asked that on the same day that somene suggested I went to them lol, since it ws the holidays I was updating like 3 times a day. Its only once a day on weekdays but that will no doubt slow down in a year when I start getting all my exams. cya around man.

spazazo: Thanks man, for the compliments and advice I'm tackling the contrast/values problem at the moment here and there,
I'l post the fight club piece as you requested, but I'm not that proud of it to be honest, I picked alot of colours. But I learned alot, thats all that realy matters I guess
Ha, same day woops, your updating like no tomorrow man

Hey Hurley, thanks for checking out my SB. I absolutely LOVED your POTO picture as I am a huge fan of the musical/movie. You did the phantom beautifully! Very impressive work you have in here and especially for only being 15. Hope to see more from you!

Your bridgeman studies are coming along nicely. Keep at them, they will pay off.
Your digipaintings, are, as you have been told, the shiz. They are great. Keep at them. I personally liked the nutter guy near the bottom of the last page. The tongue looked great.
    I'm 16 too, but you>me
Keep at it. You are making me want to try a lot harder!

Your stuff is cruising right along, its fantastic that your so dedicated already. It would be neat to see some character designs as you keep cramming in the bridgeman!
