some of the best shadings i seen , i mean the hand and feet studies , look so real!!! and the colouring is awesome too in here esp. on the illustration . you´re def on the right track . i think you only should do more figure designs and compositings , once you get them like your as good as your shading and colours , you´ll sure will kick some pros ass in here .
    keep it up!

Yeah, killer life drawings. Good call in my book, there is a lot to be said about subtlety in proprtion and rendering. It's cool to do some nice long master studies like you have here. I can also sypathize about doing good looking fast drawings, it's a lot harder then you think it is... you just really have to know your stuff.

Wow! The oversized life-drawing is very impressive. I would be afraid to draw it that big, but you handled it without any problems. Keep drawing. Would like to see some more coloured pieces, too.

yeah, wow. How did u get it from that pinkish light to the yellow light? just use the hue sliders in photoshop? I wouldn't mind knowing how to change the lighting on a finished peice. Cos sometimes it just doesnt work. Anyhow, that figure drawing is massivE! awsome stuff as usual. thnx.

Finally gonna respond! I have a ton of stuff to post but I have way to much work to do tonight. mayeb in a couple weeks?

bartovan- Thanks for looking : )

monna-giovanna- I sure will. Thank you

    silverstri 99- thanks man

    bubstar- thank you bro

the missinglink- hehe I feel the same about my class mates at the atelier. lots of catching up. Keep doing your thing and you'll go far man.

Gspot- I'm glad you like what you see : )

    wheezy- thanks man

    Chromosome - thanks

    tensai- thanks man. : )

GOBLINSHARK- ha ha. thanks man I completely agree with the figures and compositions. I am way lacking right now...

    28chelseaslater- thanks you

John T- I agree. I'm doing a lot of studying of proportions right now to get my figures to look better in a quick sketch.

    Troll Skelking- thanks.

    Wasker-i'm really small. its an 8 x 11 : )

    payus- thanks

third eye- thanks man. I got plenty of my own problems to iron out myself (I'm sure there very evident). If you got anything to crit I got an ear to catch it.

undergroundsean- thanks i will keep drawing : )

thedestroyer- Patience is definitely key. Best SB? you should look at some of the 5 star threads here. there are some unbelievable artists hear that certainly rip mine to shreads. rodrigo's thread is sweet and he just turned twenty... that bastard.

Yautia892- thanks man... you can pick up a recycled paper SB from your local Wal Mart for 10 bucks.

    andreas- thank you

Bard-hahaha. I do have hobbit feet. my sister likes to call me hobbit actually : ) I was going to the academy but just got into the Atelier hosted by this site. The exposed nipple girl is actually a portrait of my girlfriend so I have a fondness for it as well : )

    nethus-thanks

OBX- When I'm done with my piece I usually make a flattened copy of my piece in a new layer and tweak the hue and saturation for each color chanel to get it right. than I use levels to adjust the contrast. I also use "curves" to tweak any minor shade gradiant shits. Hope this helps! thanks by the way.

    Seaport-thanks bro

designboot- I agree drawing from life is far superior than drawing from referance. It was a class assignment and everyone was confined to drawing from the same referance.

    motives-thanks bro : )

archipelago- Sweet man. If you have the drive I'm sure you'll make it hear someday. Thanks b y the way.

Hey all... here is some recent stuff from my new mole skin sketch book! Man i've been missing out with the whole travel and sketch thing. Its great! I find myself walking around and drawing a lot more stuff than I would otherwise than with a big bulky sketch pad...

I can't post my school stuff till we all post in the atelier thread so this is all just fun stuff : )
