Hey, nice work so far, one thing I'd recommend is a ton of quick 30sec poses - they really help with your character posing and gesture! Digital studies are lookin great![]()
Hey Alex! Thanks for your visit. Gesturals are always in my traditional sketchbook. Can't seem to get the done the same digitally though... might need a cintique. ha!

You'll be soo handsom in 150 years!(:

Hey, these portraits are cool man. The male group is my favorite, their faces really say a lot about their personalities. My only suggestion is to maybe use more midtone in the female group, but I suppose that's just a matter of preference. Either way, they are looking good. With each post I can see you starting to refine your style. Keep up the studies, they are definitely paying off : )
btw in reference to your question, I liked the nose/ face studies that were done in blue pen. After I saw those, I got inspired to do some of them myself, hehe.
Soundpath: Thanks man... i totally agree with you on the midtones. I'm crunching my whites... might have to re calibrate my monitors too.
workin those faces still. moved onto the asian persuasion:

don't really like this style... but whatever gets me closer to imaginative illustration. Value doodles:
