Hey everyone! It's been, eh... a while since my last sketchbook update. Now I'm 17 and taking art pretty seriously, so any critiques you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I lost my tablet pen a year or so ago. These are all done in pencil/charcoal.

MasqueradedSin: Thanks, wolverine's one of my favorite comic book characters, so I felt I should give 'em a go.
Trout: I KNOW!!! And it's ticking me off. Everyone tells me "use a different brush," but airbrush gives the best tones. I developed a theory, however, and it involves texture brushes. I keep you informed.
DoubleThink: Yep. Pencil's where the heart is for me. Just gotta let go of my comfort object. But for me it's more like cut it away, lol.

Here's a t-shirt design. It's supposed to be funny, but that may have gotten lost in translation. The title: Knight Club (puns puns for everyones!)

That's right, I'm 17 and still play with Nerf guns. But as nerdy as it is, you still wish you had this thing.

Geeky outburst for teh day:
This is a Nerf Firefly which I cracked open and modded (with the help of Ironic T and another friend). Then I spray painted it with primer, gave it a flat black coat and added some gold distressing (also with help of IronicT and aforementioned friend). Not sure whether the black is giving way to the gold underbelly, or vice versa, but I'm proud of the results. Looks kinda H. R. Giger-esque if you ask me.







My first time experiencing spray paint and acrylic, and it was pretty cool. Even though I chose a very basic color scheme it was good fun.
