Jakkas, I do not wish to go into a lengthy argument with you about the logic of fictitious beasts. It would be rather silly, I think... and besides, I like your art a lot, and you seem a very likable person, judging from you comments.
What I based my statement upon was the patchy look, as I saw it, between bird, "giraffe" (the legs), and some insectoid backpart (my interpretation). I didn't question your concept (or thinking) in the matter, but rather just wrote my own view of ít. And as I stated, I was a bit ironic. Your creature do have a rare and weird outlook, I think... and yes I know that many real animals do too, but this one is imo the weirdest of the ones I've seen you do, but very charming, entertaining and skillfully rendered...again imo.
(Btw, most long-legged creatures that walk the beaches of the world, have their toes spread out as to not sink into the sand... I think... I'm not a zoologist.
