So... I've been lurking ConceptArt for years. Finally made an account a couple months back, and are finally getting around to making my own sketchbook 8D
I first taught myself to draw... like many kids did, I guess, through anime. I really want to break many of the bad habits I've created by never actually doing lighting, colour, or anatomy studies, so I'm going to try my best to start from scratch. I've never done this before, though, so any suggestions on things I should try, look into, etc, are very much welcome!
I'll probably update this with pictures weekly (or bi-weekly, if I'm having a particularly insperational week), since I'd rather one big post with tons of pictures than many small posts with one or two pictures, aha.
Well, here we go! I guess this would count as my very first entry:
