Nice! The thumbnails are great, quick clean lines and some of the environments you've sketched look really interesting.

Think your figure work is off in places, keep up with the antomy and life drawing but can see you are working on that regularly.

    Cheers

Your perspective stuff is looking really good I must say. Those faces are ok i guess, but stop rushing! Slow down and study carefully

    Keep it up!

Good on you for getting back to basic studies I normally start my work week with a sheet or two of shapes and marks in pencil.

Watch out for the scale of the facial features. Drop down some light linear lines to help triangulate up your features. They help a lot.

Some new thumbs for a project I'm working on. Notting big just some environment drawings I need to finish. I'm looking for something really dynamic and low shot to show a massive building. Any tips?
    More on this coming up.

Hey thanks for stopping by. Man you have a knack for ID for sure, as has been pointed out by others. Also as pointed out, the figures need some TLC... proportion is huge, so I would just spend some time cranking out fast figures to try and nail the proportions, make it second nature. Remember to check all the parts of the body against each other, learn it inside out! Crazy good machines and stuff for less then one year though!

Hey Hey, here we are again... much progress since I last stopped by... holding down the fort I see....

Keep up with the goodies! That last one from class, pastels? keep it up...

As for the low perspective shot i would suggest maybe trying a little bit of a 3 point perspective... normally its a really dynamic perspective, you might get the effect you are looking for... maybe not try thumbnailing it out and see if you like it... otherwise you are really going to have to set the scale with a tiny little human....

just my 2 cents... nice stuff... 5 Stars!

Really great stuff man! The ID work is amazing, and the enviro. thumbnails seem very simple and effective. Have you had any formal training, or are you just unfathomably naturally talented?

Cool sketches man! When doing your 1-5 min life drawings, or any life drawing for that fact, make sure you really pay attention to the shoulders and hips and how they compliment each other. Infact, I usually start with that first, and then work my way around the figure. infact getting all the musicles and anatomy correct should be the least of your worries, remember simple shapes, cones, spheres, cubes etc. Take a look at some Kevin Chen work to get the idea. Hope this helps!

@John T: Yeah my proportions are really bad. Its on my list Thx for replying.

@Looped_Warrior: Not pastels, conté. Yeah 3 point perspective is the key, now I need to find a cool angle. thx for the comments.

@zgrey21: I didnt had any training, found out the most things through books, dvds, etc..I'm not talented or anything thx for stopping by.

@Skeiff: Yeah I know Kevin Chen his work, have alot of his sketches on my hd. Need to look at those and figure out his way of thinking. Now I studie mostly from bridgman and vilppu.
    Thx for the reply!

    Working on my heads..
I'm beginning to understand the shapes..I did some Hogarth studies too but I prefer Bridgman actually. I learned alot from Vilppu and Bob Kato too.

I was not gonna scan these because I hate them for being so boring and plain normal. But while I'm at it, you have to show failed sketches too.

Did not finished this one because I found the design wasnt working. I prefer the little thumbs actually because they are so loose and this is to tight..

    Another boring design.

More great stuff! The speed paintings are nice, especially the monochromatic one. I love the vehicles from the post before that also, the thumbnails especially.

    Keep it up!
