    Haha, the title's a mouthful, but it just about sums it up.
    I haven't been on here very long, but for the on and off time I've spent lingering in the sketchbook forum, I feel compelled or more so inspired to start producing more original art, start sketching more often and posting it somewhere for other artists to see. I want (or rather) need critiques, ideas, inspiration and other things that I feel this community can offer, so I am quite excited to start getting more involved here and hopefully I'll get to meet some other bright minded people out there who wouldn't mind swapping ideas, collaborating and maybe even doing an art trade or two one day! Anything to get me drawing really xD

    Also, I apologize ahead of time if my art is crap! I'm still working my up the artistic ladder!

    Okay! Here's some random excerpts from one of my sketchbooks : )

    1. Mechanical pencil, than inked over it with brush. One of my OC's and his pet, Ted.
    2. Graphite. Just a spur of the moment drawing. Also, this and first drawing is more of me drawing in my favorite artists' style ^^;
    3. Graphite, than partially inked with brush pen. Was looking at a samurai reference book
    4. Back view of first one.

    Yo! Great to hear that you've got a fire burning under you now pushing you to draw, you're definitely in the right place~ I really dig your brushwork in the first drawing, great sense of form and shadow. Your other work looks promising as well.

    Hope to see more soon so we can drop a proper critique. until then, keep on drawin'! And hunker down on some anatomy studies if you havent already. The names George Bridgman and Andrew Loomis get passed around here a lot, if you havent heard of them definitely look into downloading some of their books ( http://www.alexhays.com/loomis/ ) <-- all the loomis books for easy pickin', i recommend 'Fun with a Pencil' to begin with as well as ' Figure drawing for all it's worth' , you can easily find George Bridgman PDF's on google with a quick search. Though if you're already privy to those books feel free to ignore this last paragraph

    Keep it up, once again, hope to see more soon

    Your uploads are quite big, I can't see them whole picture on my screen, zooming out could help people to see your work better. Anyway, I love the first one, so nicely done ^^ Seems like a great start for me! AustenFM gave some good book propositions, I'll just invite you to browse some more through the forum, there are many things already said that might help you
