Mist

spring mist
the lake reflects
trees and sky

just some sketch. I didn't mean to do it, that's why I started with a dull brush in the leftmost foreground tree and ended up with something different at the other end. As I say, I didn't mean it, she just took me away.
Advices and tips and hard critiques are welcome!

well, right now it's kinda bland. one thing i noticed is that it's kinda hard to tell that it's among a misty type fog by the water. you might wanna add more indication to be able tell that it's foggy.

I suggest taking a look at Jack Hamm's drawing landscapes/scenery book -it has some great references for drawing trees.

I suggest Bob Ross and his amazing happy trees.
I used to watch that man every time he came on the television when I was a kid.

As for a crit. I agree with BigZam. You can't really notice the fog all that well. And... the trees look a little too simple, but that could be what you were going for, so pardon me if it was.
