Thanks for the inspiration dude !

The elf and city militia for WoTC is excellent. I don't know how helpful or flat out nit picky this is, but as much as I like the kettle hat, gut instinct tells me its a little off the head a bit.
It seems tilted too far back like it might fall off, if you know what I mean? Your work is pretty outstanding, though.
wonderful sketches mate
keep it up

Holland, Sylwinar, wasabi89: Thanks!
zx52hg: Thanks! Yeh I fiddled a bit with the helmet after the sketch, it was supposed to be a bit more like a conquisitadors helmet in which case it would've made a bit more sense.
qlotzan: Cheers!
Small update. Not much pretty in this post but I figured I'd upload some more progress sketches and things seeing as that this is my online sketchbook
There's going to be a small masterclass by Pininfarina during the designweek in Eindhoven here, and in order to get access we need to provide some sketches for an electric city car based on a few words that describe its character. Since the design is supposed to be something you would want to buy yourself I have a ton of freedom, so I'm still trying to figure out where I'm going with this.
Last page has a promising design on it, so I might elaborate on that.
(This is where I realised that the above direction did not really fit the character I was describing so I figured I needed to try some different options)

woooo these concept car designs are sweeet! Reallly jealous you are getting paid to do this kind of thing, I suppose its just something to aim for in the future!
Do you draw a lot of machinery from reference or just go for it (before the design process I mean)?

Nettle Mountain: Hehe thanks, I'm glad the hours I put into that endeavour have been useful for someone
Surion: Thanks
ThomasM: Hehe if only I got paid for doing things like that! I hope one day, for sure. And no, not really actually. I've had a few great teachers for drawing ID things from the mind at my faculty. You can check out the very very beginnings of that in the 'Yoitisi Island' link in my sig if you like.
More work on the car above. I think I've got the main theme and idea down, now on to nailing the details and working it out in some presentation sketches.

I'm working on a new pin-up again, this time for a pin-up calendar for our blog. It's going to be devoted to the Pink Ribbon Organisation that funds research about breast cancer and support for breast cancer patients! Everyone can submit work for it -old work is welcome too- so feel free to join in:

Anyway, here's the sketch I've got so far. Lots to fix still, but I didn't want to post the links without a bit of art to go with it too.

Cameli, Kischi, LAL: Thanks for stopping by!
Update on the pinup! Have been busy like crazy the past weeks so I didn't have much time to work on it, but I figured I'd update. Still fiddling with most stuff but it's getting somewhere.
If you feel like joining in and create something for the calendar I linked, don't hesitate! The deadline is Nov. 30 so there's plenty of time still!

You're an artist, not a meat camera. -Elwell
theres so much cool stuff in this SB that you unfortunately dont show on your blog. I dont know about your job situation and if you really need that blog to be representing your abilities but youre definitely better than whats being shown there
just whats running thru my head,
keep up the good work!
Imaginehairyfriends: Thanks!
Blue Severin: Hey dude! I miss you guys too, I'm intending to visit San Fran sometime next year though, if I can swing it!
KingElvis: Hey thanks for the comment! I've been fudging with my blog a bit lately (and created a second blog to contain all the ID stuff), so I wasn't really sure where to go with it. I agree it doesn't really reflect myself as much as I should, so I might mess around with it some more soon.
Here's another update on the pin-up. Still a few small things to work on, but it's getting there

Aaaand..final (for now at least..). I might revise it a little since the deadline is still a while's away, but for now I'm happy with it.

Hey, why no updates? Hope you didn't abandon this sketchbook.
I just saw that there's a new book coming out from Koos Eissen called "Sketching: The Basics". Just wanted to ask if you know if it will contain handy tips like your "yoitisi island" tutorial.
Thanks in advance and feed your sketchbook.
