    Hail to the King, baby

    Hi all,
Well, I have to post sometimes...
My version of a "comicized" Ash from "The Army of Darkness"...
I know this looks still "sketched" but I can assure you it's finished
And now show me my mistakes! (Digital and speed painting it's still hard for me, but I'm trying)

    Regards.

I like this type of stuff. I'm favor a more cartoony look to my renders as well.

There's a face I know and love! Sexiest scarred lips I've ever seen! His likeness isn't sacrificed by the style of the piece, and I like that. Great job!

Wow, very cool. I like the color a lot. Nice warm and loose without losing quality.

    The stylization looks really great.

I'm not quite sure why, but the "cloudy" background to the left of his face looks like its more in the foreground than his face. This is also happening to a lesser extent on the right side of his head, by his hair, as well.

Cool stylzation, I also like the tones too.. the hair are very vell done.. you havn't puit much detail in the, but still they look great...
more shadows around the eyes might help..The background also looks incomplete...but that's maybe because of the extra black lines around the contours of his head..

Looks cool, but soften your brushes and tools a bit, it would cause the colors to blend nicely. The hair is particularily awesome.

Ahh! Ash, I am such a huge Evil Dead Fan. Besides that, I love it! Its a great painting too. The lighting is crazy and you don't have to love Ash to see that its a great painting.

It's about capturing the character, right?
    Great!
