    Awesome work as always.
I like the shape seeing approach on the #851 post.
Your colors are really catchy and with great balance.
    Keep up!

Nice stuff dude! Even though this is 'conceptart.org' it's nice to see other styles. And excellent change of pace!

    Giorge - Cheers man.

Eightball_ - It's getting there slowly slowly.

GEB - I spent a fair while thumbnailing awkward scenes, and it's great that it comes across in the final images.

    bharat - Thanks and thanks.

knut- - I'm always trying to get strong silhouettes using shapes, thanks mate.

Sublimus - Well, concept art doesn't all have to be desaturated and aimed at adults right?

    mushroomz - Cheers!

Been working my ass off on a book, writing, thumbnailing all the pages and now concepting the characters. Here are 2 designs slapped together onto a really quick background for a little atmosphere.

good luck with the book, the art is amazing. in the last piece a subtle shadow under the characters might add some more depth to the floor, when can we get this book?

Sony - Cheers man, I agree about the floor shadow. This is only a quick bg as a sort of style test, so I'll have to think a lot more carefully when I'm painting the final images to not let it get too flat!
I'm working on this between freelance work, so progress is slower than if it were my main focus, but I'm aiming for just before Christmas or early next year.
I'll be starting up a kickstarter for it, so I'll be sure to post here when I do - hopefully you guys can help me spread the word and get it published.

Somelar - I've always wanted to design stuff for animation

Here's some recent work for magazines, newspapers and plain old personal work:

Thanks guys, I appreciate you continuing to check out my work - sometimes I think it sticks out like a sore thumb around these parts!

So I'm crazy busy lately, and haven't really had time for forums - here's a small selection of stuff I've had over on my blog and Twitter.

Sony - Tell me about it, I'm still working on the bloody comic!

nim - Haha yeah, his face is cool - liking the large nose and all those wrinkles.

    kingkostas - Cheers man

Vritra - You're too kind, for every one thing I'm good at there's probably 3 that I'm not

NickyBeats - It's coming along SLOWLY, haha - just so much to think about before you even start drawing!

SophieW - I hope this post doesn't disappoint

So here's a few bits and pieces to round up what I made in 2012, I've probably missed a good few but you can check out my blog or portfolio if you want to see any more of it. Here we've got some stuff I did for Jamie Oliver magazine, The Independent (UK newspaper) as well as some personal doodles and whatnot.
    Cheers guys!
