It's been a while since I've posted to the CA forums at all, wanted to wait some until I started to develop more with my anatomy and style.
I still have a long way to go, but I feel like I now how some works that are more in the correct direction.
(trying to figure out this attachments thing...)
Having some difficulty with the shirt, trying to archive the look of that somewhat 'stiff', thin fabric.
Inspired by the Tracks, Wings for Maria and 10,000 Days (Wings pt 2) off the newest Tool album. The Shape of the body seems about right, but I think the torso might be a tough too short. I'm thinking of using reds/purples for the shading. Still trying to place the somewhat 'ethereal' wings
Been doing a lot of bone structure studying lately, to flesh out an accurate skeletal structure for these species of dragons I'm working on. I want them to be a bit Saurian in feel, which I think I've achieved. They are meant to be rather short in body length, and very powerful forearms and jaws.
the head may be a bit too small, and I still can't decide if I want them to walk on their toes or balls of their feet.
Very rough, most recent sketch. I like it so far, though the woman's posture is bothering me and I can't seem to fix it. I think the torso is too long. I also can't seem to make her look like she's sitting correctly.
Well, this is all for now.
Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
