    New to ConceptArt.org

    Hey guys,

This website looks like a well produced site and the commuinity seems very generous. I've been on photoshop for a while now, and I can also draw a fairly good sketch on paper but I would really like to know the basics of photoshop to make a concept art painting.

    Thanks

    Paine

AnyOne willing to help me please?

Anyone willing to read the rules please?
You must've noticed that there's only art in the critique centre, cmon.
There's a buncha tutorials all over the internet, but i'd suggest you get a tablet and just practice, practice, practice first...
    peace

Well, best is to get the basics down.. There are some topics on CA.. pretty much spread out, but they are mostly stickies.. Check them out, and uhm , i suggest paper and pencil instead of tablet =) depends on your current skill though.

I dont know your experience level yet, but here is what i would have to say.

Idiot Apathy recently posted links to some threads in the C&C section. Just browse a little through the section's thread, you'll find some great links on there.

    Hi Paine,
Grab a sketchbook and click on "Concept Art 101" in my sig. . .
I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.
