    Wolverine

Hopefully the pics have come out a bit smaller on this one let me know what you think it would be great to get some feed back. The entire sculpt is about 17 inches tall with the head being about 1.5 - 2 inches in size. Hope you like it cheers

Really good!, like the scale, proportions, anatomy and hair details, also love the folds in the trousers.

From the side, the face looks slightly too smooth but that's being picky.

Hey hodge, I think maybe the resolution (pixels per inch) is a bit too low or you've compressed your .jpg file too much. The size seems good to me, I've seen portfolios with images a lot smaller than yours. And by the way, it looks great! I was Alex Oliver's student and I can tell you I have to practise a lot to get any close to you. That hair looks awesome! Keep it up, mate.

Just one question, though... do you use any kind of solvent to smooth up the clay's surface?

    Peace out!
    James.

Hi thanks for the replys. I've managed to quickly get a couple more images so I thought I'd post them. I do use lighter fluid to smooth out the really hard to reach areas but try to keep away from it when I can. I wet my finger to smooth it out more than anything and also dab a sponge to take all the sharp lines back. I find you can quickly make a sculpt look messy with fluid.

Thanks again and keep the comments coming. I'll post more as it progresses
