Need help with blood spatter/dripping blood

Hey, just hoping someone can help me find a good tutorial, or just some basic starting points on how to go about it..... Here is the pic I want to have the blood on ( just on the bat, and partially spattered on the arms, face, and jacket)

try making a custom brush of lots of little specks of varying opacity.

Unfotunately I don't know any good tutorial for that.
And, yeah, I agree with Univiii, make your own brush, or use the adobe one. Please, please do not use those "stamp" brushes that you can download everywhere, they look silly and they do not blend with the image as they should.

In my opinion you should research, water, blood and other liquids splashing and try to mimic the efect with the old round brush or with your own brushes.
