Super start! I like your line work, Pencil work is great. No worries about color right I cant wait to see more pencil work! If you can thro in some traditional markers or colored pencils.

Here are some more full paintings. I work with golden fluid acrylics, and I use Danato and Lockwood's technique of transfering drawings to masonite. This technique is really freakin cool and if you havent seen Todd Lockwood's FAQ where he explains it in detail, you should check it out. Anyway, here is some of my stuff. Comments and critques requested!

Very nice work! I loves the sketches.
The last one seems a little off to me though... just not up to par with the rest. It may be an anatomical problem, but the only thign that strikes me right away is what is viewable of her face.

My technique tends to change from one artwork to the next cause I like to experiment. But mostly I follow the same guidelines.

First I develope a character drawing as detailed as I can, but only on a 9 x 12 sheet of bristol. Then, I develope a background, sometimes as a different drawing altogether, but sometimes around the character I already did. I like to keep things separate to keep the edges clean, unless I am not going to paint it. Unfortunately that keeps my drawing pile sort of low on fully completed sketches. So if by this point, I like what I see and want to spend a few days painting it, I take it to kinkos and enlarge it onto watercolor paper. Then, I use the technique I mentioned above for applying this sheet to a piece of masonite. You can get all the details on Todd Lockwood's website or Donato's website. I highly recomend at least trying this technique because its really cool and fun to try.
So then I get out my box of Golden Fluid Acrylics and set to work painting it.
A few weeks later and I got another piece to scan in and then stick in the pile in the top of my closet.
I really wish selling art was as easy as making it. Not that its easy to make, but compared to selling it it is.

Followed the link in your sig from my art request thread, and I like what I see. My personal favorite piece is the last one, as it just feels a bit more natural than the others. Yeah, weird adjective when compared to the topic, oh well.
