can't wait to see some new work.
starting of with some doodles and speedos,
I did this one before my wacom broke along with the next
1hish I think
1h for this one aswell
1½h on a broken wacom ^^ (I handed it over to the support an hour later)
I did these today, downloaded barontieris brushes so I had something to work with;
Saw this happy fat man on the net and was just amazed how much character he had, 1h study.
A clip of this upcoming movie Perfume inspired me, seems promising. Did this from the mind, 45 min
I don't know![]()
Ya, hot chocolate! 1½h

Ah Daraf ^^ you should've waited 2 minutes for me to post!

Wow thanks, Wake
Unfortunately I've lost all those brushes I did back then when my comp crashed. Some of the brushes used in that picture are taken from some texture I got from Andrew Jones in a issue of ImagineFX. I could recreate most of them by the ones created by 'happy accidents' are hard to do again. :p
I went for a more cartoon style for this one, done for DSG here at ca.org.
Key word: "FANTASTIC SERPENT GUARDS THE PODIUM OF THE GIANT JEWEL"

Flaskpost: TackYup from GF, but I mostly hang at conceptart and cg nowadays. Maybe Sijun aswell after a few skill level ups.

Dile: tack tackYup, inspired by David Levy, Barontieri, Sparth and some movies I've seen. I got David's dvd from gnomon aswell. Very intresting to hear his opinion and techniques.
And here's some anatomy studies from Loomis but mostly Bridgman

GO GO!![]()
Wasker! glad to see you here -- looking great with the studies so far, keep it up - you have such a great imagination![]()

Environments seem to be your strength, lovely stuff! Nice atmosphere and use of textures.![]()
Lite varierande kvalité på dina digitals. Tycker att http://www.wasker.com/ship.jpg
var riktigt nice dock. Pro kvalité ju
Kanske beror på ditt wacom problem, eller att katten e farlig?
.peace
ben: haha thanks mate
sideshowbob: thanks, doing my best
Chermilla: Yeah I feel more comfortable with enviroments since there are few rules (to me atleast) to follow when it comes to proportion (who can tell if a tree branch is sligthely off anyway). Studying some anatomy though, hoping that it will bring characters alive.

MorteM: Ja, vissa blir sämre än andraTack tack.
More studies, Bridgman and a Da Vinci, I printed a ton of Da vincis today so I'll have some serious studying to do the upcoming days. Cheers

Cool sketches. I like the way you use colors.
Hazart: Thank youwe are of different opinions there. I don't like the way I use colors. Not yet anyhow, need to learn alot
here's a brushtesting image, 1½h, some brushes are m@s btw so I can't take credit for all the brush work.
Edit1: I probably should credit Andrew Jones for the texture aswell.
Edit2: The gradients with circles in was originally invented by David Levy aka Vyle

The bridgeman studies look really good. As do the digitals as always.
My favorite one has to be the second to last pic you posted. The color choice is really cool on that one. The gradiation from the warm yellows to the dark purples is very nice.
