holy shit man. your style is so sick. the girl in post 261 is aweeeesome. no ref? do you make your custom brushes or dl them?

Dekal: Hey what's up man ! Thanks......and no ref, i hardly use ref...only when i really know what i wanna or have to draw.
I use some brushes from bumskees brushessentials and some tweaked ps brushes.
Maybe you could help me out on my trapped forest girl....i really had a hard time coloring it but i learned a lot so far....maybe you have some suggestions on that one....would be great!

definately man. the lower left corner, pretty much where the point of interest is...theres well, no interest. what is she doing? i dont think the plants should be there. i think you should put some action right there. the blackened sillhouetted plants on the right side are cool because theyre away from the focal point but i dont think it should be that simple on the left side.
also..your figures are usualy pretty dynamic or on some kind of angle, buti never see you do figure studies, or you dont post them. whats with that?

Thanks for the feedback mate!...and it's true what you are saying. I will put some action there.
As for the figure studies....i'm afraid i really don't have any to post. Most of the time i try to figure it out myself and if something really looks awkward i take refs. I know that's kind of lazy.....on the other hand i read an interview with marko djurdjevic a while ago and he has done it the same way......on another hand, I'm not Marko.........i'm confused....

I hope i can work on that piece as soon as possible, for the next days i'm quite busy with other work stuff.........

.....if there is anything colorwise that i could do better, please shout it right at me...

somehow this is the first time I have ran across your sketchbook.... NICE! I love the energy you maintain in all your pieces, even when they have been pushed to a finished state.

Thanks mate......yeah, my process steps really show that i always have a hard time getting the color right.

So here is the chow wip from this week, fairy queen. i would gladly accept some comment about the coloring........by the way , have especially a look at this weeks chow, an amazing amount of excellent work is getting produced over there.......

Weeeeee! I love your last designs man. Sweet goodness.
Although the fairy queen's colors look great so far I find her silhouette and design elements (costume, hands expression, etc) a bit hard to read, but hey, it's still a wip and I know you will keep showing your skills and get a kick ass piece as always.

I tried to make it a bit more friendly than the others...so i went with a more comic...cartoonish look....it's not done yet but almost.
