WOW, I´ve missed out on many fab updates!
These are wicked sick man. Wish I could come with some productive comment, but.... wow.

I painted this live on Mogulus.
My channel is http://www.mogulus.com/conceptartorgdavi
I'll be trying to paint live after work as much as I can. They will probably be studies, and probably be in painter 10.
Here is what you missed tonight.
if you would like to know when im streaming watch my twitterfeed: http://twitter.com/daviblight

Cool study, mate!
•
woah your work dump is sweet!
and amazing study. definately checking out your channel!
nice man.. watching you paint really makes me realize how much i need to slow downseems i'm been watching way to many speed elapses haha.
i have a crit though.. in your best creatures this isn't a problem.. but in most of your stuff you leave all areas at the same level of details /finish.. it'd be way more interesting to look at your focal points if you defined them more by using tighter lines, ( not the same size as in the rest of the image etc ) using another hue, or just tighten up the detail a bit some hardvssoft edges wouldn't hurt either :p anyways thanks for sharing![]()
Awesome study!
About what time each day (in whatever time zone you choose) do you draw? I'd like to watch.

thanks everyone you are really fantastic
and good crits dile, it's something i've heard alot, but i'm struggling how to figure it out. Part of my problem last night getting focus on that study is that the life stream honestly does lag my pc alot so i tried alot of larger strokes.
cacodaemonia, i've been recently drawing around 7pm-9pm and trying to finish before 1am so i can get some sleep for work
I wont be on it for about a week since i'm heading out to the workshop.
Add me to twitter if you have it so you can keep track of when im going online. Or chat more in our IRC channel, because i post the url there when i start.
I'm back from the workshop, I started a piece tonight after buying a website for too much money. (later to be discussed on that after i set it all up).
Here's what i accomplished (not finished) tonight

All your creature stuff is really inspiring! The live feed sounds really interesting, I hope to catch it.![]()

awesome stuff!!
sweetness davi
Looks great - it was really enjoyable watching you refine it over mogulus today for the short time I watched.
here is more on the creature, probably not "done" with it, but i was getting to the point of nuddle-frustration
I also did a portrait of a friend, britney win, aka a la bapsi

Cool creature, though it looks like it might be a little front-heavy. I like the odd, bony protrusions on its back.
The portrait is nice! I like the roughness and almost pop art feel of it.

it was schweeeet to hang at the workshop!!
It was great meeting you at Reverie, and I enjoyed looking at your creature portfolio. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your character work...it looked like it was off to a good start!
Some interesting stuff you spawned since my last visit to your sketchbook , like what you did with the blue/red double half portrait , on the last post , the 1st one , looks unfinished , you might what to ad some depth into that , you can ad more detail on the trunk that is more closer to the viewer, and some more lights on the creature , you can figure that there is a light source , but you need more strenght in some of the parts , where is more closer to the light the the other , or more closer to the viewer .
Hope you don't mind the critique.
Cheers
I want to first say thanks to Kemp Remillard, Sam Brown, and Rich Doble for getting me back into using sketchup.
This is my first attempt at doing something in sketchup after the workshop, I feel a drastic improvement over how I worked in the program before.
These are actual legs from an ma.k model i found online. I figured it would be best to try to figure out the program using something "real" to mimic in the program instead of just hitting random buttons and going LOLITWORKSRIGHT?

You are getting good so fast :| Those creatures are kick-butt.
I like the character so far. Here's what I think might help... maybe not... too late to tell

made some more changes, thanks for the crit nightblue

Your creatures are wonderful! On the last one, her left arm looks quite a bit longer than her right, but I could be mistaken. Beautiful work.
The figure is turning out wonderfully. The colors look a bit desaturated on my monitor though. Are you still working on the piece?
thanks pointing out the arm and the saturation, i tried to handle both of those
and yes i'm still working on it, here you are!
