Two latest doodles - were done below 1 h each, so they're kinda' speed-paintings![]()
and a recent sketch (to be painted):
Some time ago I've finished the last sketch (well, it's still more speed-like...).
Really nice stuff. Unusual and original looking. Do you ever put them onto canvas?
ThanksNo, I don't have much time for traditional media nowadays. But I want to make some acrylic stuff, because I really miss real brushes.
Great set of characters and speedpaints. Im impressed about how fast you can pull these out. Love to see more process stuff and where you start your designs from. Keep post'in.
...a perpetual plan for discovery days, where everyone can take part in "purposeless play".

Small update - a concept for Concept Corner challenge on http://max3d.pl:
ur stuff is mind blowing.
im in love with that [page uno] beaver.
AWESOME work mate.
question though?
what art program do u use??
Thanks Beta_v1 for kind wordsI'm using Photoshop and Painter, often side by side. Photoshop is pretty straightforward and easy to use, but Painter gives a lot of fancy features (I love the way you can mix colors in Painter).
Cheers!
Wow, you have a great fantasy ;D keep it up
DoctorPencil: thx, I will
Some not-so-recent sketches:

I love this sketchbook. Very original. Nice work.
hehe...gotta love creepy clowns...*ekk...looks like that clown on the right has one nasty looking injection needle in his hand.
Good sketches and those digital drawings are coming along pretty well. Just think about refining some of them more and keep pushing the values.

I'm working on some pose studies recently - refs taken from characterdesigns www and "anatomy for artists" (by Sarah S.), but I have Bridgman's book on my desk as well - I guess I should give it a try as well.

The clowns in your head want out.
You need to draw them or else...
CLOWNMAGGEDDON!!!
Whoa, over a year without a single post!
So... no clowns this time (sorry Lakeland), but two quickies. The "batman" piece was made in painter 12, which seems to be really good. Performance is nice and new UI is no longer buggy.
I want to put some more effort in this batman sketch, but I'm not sure yet where do I want to go with it. I'll probably change the composition, add some fancy background... we'll seeSo far the anatomy is... very improvised, but I had a lot of fun anyway.
