    Thunderdome !!!!

dorian: Thanks buddy. Thanks for the in-depth reply, too. Extremely helpful. I'll let you know what happens
    lefran: Thanks for stopping by

Yeah, last update wasn't really too great. So I prepared a Giant update for you all, mostly progress shots of my TD entry and chara designs, but it still counts !

I'll hopefully finish it soon an post an update, this is how it was submitted and all that time allowed atm.

happiness! you have outdone yourself this time! really strong piece for the td, but my fave of anything you posted (along with the bajillion thumbnails and well seen life drawings!!) is the second thunderdome WIP, with the leaping character over the wolf (rick berry style!)

did you do this all in painter? we must trade tips sometime

amazing. i am a jealous cookie. here's hoping you end up victorious in round two as well

I hadn't seen this last update.

The thunderdome came out nice but is way too dark. The progress shots are nice, I think you might have over worked it.

Thumbnails are great. As are the life drawings.

Keep it up. Good luck on Florence.

mrgrumble: Hey grats on the TD. Your piece was way stronger than mine and you squeezed that out in the last day didn't you ? You totally deserve it. Good luck for round 2. Somehow i don't think those guys will let you squeeze by with a half finished piece though
cartoonfox: Yeah I hate my TD piece, the more I look at it the weaker it seems, so right now i'm totaly haing it.
    Gspot: Thanks dude
    armaldon: Thanks I'll try

Well I've been bummed out art wise lately mostly due to my pathetic TD attempt, but I've been doing some sketches and stuff trying to get myself buzzing again. here :

wow man, looking at the last sketches, I see a lot of improvement especially in the color ones. Really dig your designs. An small suggestion is to keep practicing anatomy since I see some proportion errors in the first sketches of your last post. Thanks for sharing

Yo! Its cai's friend from uni, Congrats on getting into both schools!

I don't really hate you, don't listen to cai. I'm just very jealous, you've got some really strong stuff in here. You'll be incredible by the time you finish you course.

    This is gorgeous.

Life drawings really good, I really like your quick gestural stuff. Keep an eye on your proportions though, they seem a little off at times.

    keep it up!

I love the zipper crotch drawings in post 67 & the last drawing in 73. This drawing has great gestural/searching lines. Well handled.

    Those are my favorite.
