    Scanner

Should I get a scanner? I don't know much about photoshop so I won't be doing much coloring, but mainly posting my sketches? Scanner or no?

There was much rejoicing in the realm of the Harvest Gods when man created the beer, light could not penetrate.

it's cheaper if you trick one of your friends into buying a scanner. make sure its the friend that has the fridge full of beer.

Just got some disposable income. I'm getting myself a scanner too. Nothing fancy budget $200 Canadian. They are great for scanning in traditional media studies to get crits on etc. ^^

For $100 dollars, I checked Futureshop out a month ago. Enough to scan 8.5 by 11 pieces of paper and was 600 by 1200 dpi. Under $100 I think (Canadian dollars) ok but a long term investment I'm looking into a 1200 by 1600 dpi scanner for under $200.

Thanks for the information, but one more question, what are the things that make a scanner good? What specs?
