    Question about turpentine

I'm finally taking my first painting class. I just bought some odorless synthetic solvent that's basically turpentine. I was thinking about pouring it into a plastic yogurt cup. Is that okay, or would it chew threw the plastic? I wouldn't be keeping it there for too long.

Always best to use glass, solvents and plastic don't always play nice together. I use baby food jars ... The bananas or mixed fruit make a real good snack.
