    Chamber

I finished this yesterday and debated posting it here because it was done quickly. But I liked the way it turned out, though his body could use some attention. Chamber from Gen X (Probably my favorite comic character. Ever.)

The lines were done on some pretty crappy paper. So whenever I'd erase, a bunch of paper would come off as well. Plus the ink was blotting. Anyway, I finished off the drawing with PS, textures courtesy of RobG, and a pic of goldleaf I got off the internet. I've added a seperate pic of the lines and very basic, sketchy colors and textures.

    Cheers!

Bwahahaha. He looks exactly like Hyver with a scarf. Maybe Hyvers nose is bigger.

Great job, i love how he seems restrained and sad.

That's really beautiful. It's the kind of piece that draws me in and makes me want to know this character's story. (the best kind of illustration, I think) Good job! and thanks for sharing it.

    Thanks for the comments!

I actually really love Bachalo's Chamber (the original and the best), but I can't draw like Bachalo, so have to adapt the character to my style. I was hesitant to post the colors only because they're so spare, like the emperor with no clothes - I really prefer drawing.

Holly shit, CHAMBER ! Wow, one of my favorite character of Generation X [the first issues still the top for me]. You know what ? I want see the entire team with the wonderfull "bluefooted's touch". Even just as drawing.

Awwww, please ! It's Christmass soon and I was a very VERY kind boy this year ! Hehehe !

I like the way you play with the pattern on Jonothon Starsmore's chest, very delicate and unique. Good to see you posting here, hope see more.
    Cheers.

Nice to see some more work from you! He doesn't seem as fully realized as the Alice in Wonderland stuff, but still beautiful as usual & a neat take on the character.
