Chelsea - Yah, that one would be awesome! Would be a pretty big challenge do a plushie of him but you can do it.

bhanu - thanks dude, I am still figuring out a way that I want to bring these drawings to canvas. It's taking me a bit to figure it out... not to mention art supplies are fucking expensive. But I've really enjoyed doing the last couple of digital illustrations, so I'll probably do a few more of those.

Your characters are so cool! I like their hands!
Do you graph too? I mean some graffitis, I don't know the world in English!
I'd love to see some of your piece if you practice it!
    I give you five stars!

    haha brother....awesome sketches yet again....
I gotta agree art supplies are fucking expensive..been collecting money myself to buy stuff for paintings...But yknow what take your time to do something on the canvas and I know when you do it will be pure gold.
The second one is really awesome ..the skull guy in the middle rules...hell yeah.....
Keep up the great work mate.

    Hey Sketch.
    http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...t/sb7_pg21.jpg
The girl on the right.. That is really cool, just a few lines and simple shape but such a nice picture.

I keep checking in your thread here, but I usually just look and don't post because I can't think of much to say, besides nice new work.

I think you should try something on canvas, I think it would look good. Maybe try mixing media and start off with some spray paint then go over it with oils.

Have you been getting any work, like private commissions or work for magazines?

Clochette - Thanks for the stars, I don't do any graph but I am slowly adding paint pens and spray paint to my traditional work... still a far way to go though.

Quinn Simoes, Bhanu, ajvenema - Cheers and many thanks!

Mr-Joe - I kinda fucked that girl up when I went over her in ink... I was super stoked on the pencil lines. I've had a bunch of offers lately but a lot of them have fallen through. Not too sure why but I kinda expect it when I start something like that. It is nice to start getting noticed by other industries that I'm into... one of my favorite hip hop producers was stoked on my work!

I've been in a somewhat slump lately.... just pushing through it. I find it really hard to work out/run and then draw... is this because you use different sides of the brain and when you workout the jock side takes over?! haha, kinda weird.

still going strong since I last checked. that winged guy in your last update is great and the bunny on the same page. the lineflow in your characters is just as good as ever. you could draw some more girls, though. I'm sure they'd work with your your style just as good as the rest.
always a pleasure so rock on!

monotony - thanks for checking back! I plan on adding a lot more girls... it's hard though because when I was younger I just drew sexual girls and now I'm trying to find a bit more in each one... but of course still attractive, hehe.

It must be realy inspiaring to know that someone who you realy like ,digs your art(i mean the hiphop artist).

roidvoid - not in school(I went to Vancouver Film School) and I'm just doing a 'normal' job right now. So I guess neither. I just do my shit because it eases my head and makes me happy. If it turns into something, cool.

ohomoho - thanks, yah I'm glad peeps are recognizing my work and it's starting to stand on it's own. Just have to make the transition into traditional paintings.

bhanu - my online bro, I'll try and some female curves soon.

I was just looking again true your artwork and you know , you show so much diferent characters. when i look at one of your chars you can tell so much by his face and clothes. That makes your artwork realy noticeable.

Hey man! Thanks for all the posts recently, appreciate it! I'm starting to really appreciate your stuff, I love how you draw hands, They look so beefy and awesome. I would say the usual study anatomy, draw from life so on blah blah but to be honest, just keep on cranking out the stuff you enjoy, its refreshing to see someone draw just for the fun of it.

    Have some stars!

ohomoho - thanks man, good to hear!

Quinn - yah I took Classical and Maya. It was fun and a good school if you end up wanting to do animation. I worked at Bardel for a little bit and just decided it wasn't for me and I would rather just focus on my own work. Are you working as an animator now?

Miles - BEEF, it's what's for dinner! Yah, I do studies once in awhile but for the most part it's not really what I'm about lately. Kinda of the opposite. But like I said I've had years for studying different aspects of drawing.

This week at work I'm going to have some time to draw so last night I was productive.

I'm proud of this one, just because it's taking what I'm doing and putting a bit of a new spin on it

Trying to add some variety on this page(girls and a fish)

    Had fun on this one

Wow, thanks for all the love peeps! Some of the comments that I've gotten on CA have really motivated me.

otsopsanig - haha, popeye arms... never thought of that. I never was really into Popeye though. Jim Henson's work is more of influence to me.
To pose your characters more believably... hmmm, don't think I'm a good person to teach someone on believably, kinda the opposite. haha. For me I just look for good shapes and curves and don't really worry too much if an arm or leg could actually do it. JUST MAKE IT!

chrishly - wow, thanks! Um, I'm not a 'street artist' because I don't do any art on the streets(although there's been a couple things I've been thinking of), but I'd say I'm influenced by the same things. Like street art I try and make my art something I can do very fast and just put down in an instant. I'd say live painting is a bit more of influence on my work and something I'd like to work towards. Also hip hop, funk and soul are huge influences.

bhanu - Nudies! hehe, It's been a minute since I've drawn some ugly bits. I'll see what I can do.

    TimGillette - Thanks meng!

BoBo_the_seal - You made my morning! I have looked at your work and studied it over and over when I was aiming for a career in video games(about 5 years ago). Love your work! It'd be awesome to see what you'd do with one of my drawings, please do!

Hilbruks - cheers! I'm very limited in my color use... I'm going to try and do a little more for sure.

Had a very productive night at work... beats were pounding and my hand was working for me. Next month I'm getting trained on a new job at work and I won't have very much time for my sketchbook but hopefully I get some done on the weekends.
