mate youve got such a refreshing style! im so pleased to find hip-hop flavoured artwork without the cliches and obnoxious tags you can never decipher or read, even if you try. this one is really hot. had a look through the rest of your work, seems you've got quite a thing going for you with your shirt designs. i really liked the elk/moose thingies, very nice, i would wear it i'll be sure to keep my eye on you

Hey, ta for stopping by my SB
really like your style here! just taken a look through and theres some really nice characters! especially like the fox! I'd maybe like to see some more full body designs? or maybe even a little series in a little comic strip or something would be cool

stoph - thanks meng! I really like it when someone points out one or two pieces of my work and tells me they like it... instead of just saying all your works cool. Helps me figure out what's working and what's not. That particular piece took me a long time to figure out... I need to do more challenging angles like that one.

lefran - thanks for returning the favour! I would love to one day do a comic or some sort of narative but for now I really just want to work on doing some really nice ink designs. I am trying to do a little bit more full or more of the figure drawings. It's just that I get so much more fun out of faces!

kirpid - hahaha, that's awesome because I'm always listening to music... and it's always really fucking loud!

InstantIndian - thanks a bunch! Line quality has always been my biggest focus.

monstertree - thanks for coming back. The chunky outlines are from using a brush instead of a pen to do my inking. So much better and a lot more fun to use.

I've been drawing in my sketchbook a lot but it's all in 2H pencil and won't scan good, so I'll take some time very soon and ink a couple of them up. Please don't give up on me yet!!! haha, there will be more. Just need to get rid of my 'normal' job

Your stuff is still great man, though some of the stuff is getting to be the same old and same odl, try to break free from your regular and method and try to work outside fo what you know and advance as an artist.

Hey man! Your stuff is flippin sweet as always!
The last wip could use some more variation in the line width, but i´m sure you´re getting to that!
    Keep kickin´ it!

Flaskpost - I meant to change the line width already, haha. Thanks for reminding me! There'll be a lot of changes done to this piece before it's done.

Fvallejo - Thanks for the support man, I know you're crazy busy. Congrats on being on Drawn! The lines on the new one are digital but sketched first.
I've only listened to the new Wu-Tang once and I'm not 100% on what I feel. There is one thing that really stands out and that's Method Man, wow! He's back and that's enough for me to listen to it a lot. But there is a lot of the album without any rapping from the Clansmen. Lots of singing, talking or kung-fu sound quotes.

    bhanu - thanks meng!

Fvallejo - Actually screw it! I'm lovin the new Wu! Couple parts that are annoying but for the most part it gives me that dark feeling that I get from their earlier work.

    Here's some moleskin pages...

Flaskpost - haha, yah that one was fun. Just thought of a someones facial skin stretched out over a block.

Mr-Joe - thanks! I work for a transit company doing a couple different jobs, one of them being working in the marketing dept and working on their website. It's a good gig.

andreas - thanks a lot! Moleskins are fun but I'm getting used to drawing really small again because of it's size. I need do the opposite and work on bigger media. Ah well!

    new backround for me!
your drawings seem more at ease now, they look more fluid, like it has been easier for you to draw them.. than your old ones
i changed you to a 5 star! haha

dadushin - thanks! That's kind of interesting about me having more ease with drawing lately... not sure if that's true or not. I think my style has changed a bit since the beginning of this book. I am using more curves instead of my usual angled style. And from what I've seen around here I'm not a 5 star artist, haha. Hope you check back!

ODISPA - thanks! Hopefully you dig my new stuff.

BC & Goog, thanks for the continous support! I would love to do some work for magazines... just always feel like I need to get a bit better or really nail down my voice and style.
This latest piece feels like I'm on to something... I am looking forward to trying a few more like this and maybe do larger pieces on canvas like this... or mix in some other types of media such as photos.
Also, in the New Year I am going to make time for life drawing once a week.

woah woah woah where have i been!?!
    all these fantastic updates.
I always think youre tricking me when my subscribed thread says there's recent posts, since you reply to eveeryone!

but oh mannn, those colored ink sketches are lookin totally rad. i can't resist anything with sunglasses, & you're a pro at drawing them.
I love that girl on the far left of that character composition too. for obvious reasons!

i feel like a bad person cause I haven't finished your plushie yet. i know you wont hold it against me, but its just sitting on my desk waiting to be finished!
