Finally! Sick stuff Matt, I love that you're using a texture background. Try filling the body of the images in white, I think it would look better.

Hey dude, thanks for the push. I've drawn a bit lately but it's been a busy time. There's been Xmas, trying to get a new job at work and moving this week... so I haven't been able to really get into drawing. Sucks. Hopefully I'll be back into the swing of things real soon!

Thanks mondegreen, hopefully this post will show a bit more of my sketchy stuff. I go through phases of drawing sketchy or really clean. Whatever I'm feeling at that moment I guess... and what music I'm listening to.

I just finished moving and now have some time to get back to work. CHURCH!

Inspired by Jim Mahfood on this one(not even close to how good his shit is)

Here's some sketchy stuff and some more full bodys than I normally do. I know I need to start drawing the full body more but I love faces and hair!

you really have a solid style it seems. Like dude Orifice said your cartoony style/ caricatures are your strongest piece imo. push them farther plz and like the the ethnic approach to illustration you really will garner so fans if you push it higher further and farther.......so do it dude.

noice...i really love the vector stuff, although your pencil stuff is great too

you seem really confident with your work and compositions, its really refreshing. one question since i know nothing about vector art....

how long does one of those take? do you go over a hand sketch? your using illustrator?

    oops...3 questions

Orifice - Thanks, I really enjoyed doing the more cartoony stuff lately. I love trying to blend cartoony with detail. I'll have some more soon.

NicoRaven - Thanks for the push!

Arekkusu - Nice to meet you too. I agree with your choices. Those are up there for my favs as well. I might be able to do some faces but from looking at your sb you have a lot more things down.

kakapoopie - Thanks for the compliments. You're stuff is amazing.
Most of my Vector pieces take about 2-5 hrs depending on when I cut myself off. It's hard to know when to let them be done. There's usually a main theme or look that I'm going for but it often changes so much. The first pic on this page was originally suposed to be a girl looking up at the moon, lol. Don't know what the hell happened.
I use Illustrator for the line work and ps for the colours. Usually I start with a sketch(first one) or sometimes a photo(the last two were from photos). I learn something from both ways.
Also, I play around with textures a lot.
