Thanks guys. I have def learnt more in the last few months just by actually painting but i def think i have a long way to go. Start life drawing classes in january, aint done that in about 4 years, i'm really looking forward to it!!

You have some slight facial proportion problems, but a pretty good grasp on color and rendering. Nice start to your SB. Keep up the practice and everything will come together!

a quick sketch of a sorrowfull roman soldier cleaning the blood from his sword after a heavy battle

The cartoon character are nice, simply in their design but able to convey allot more emotion and you also have a good understanding of human anatomy and colours.
