    Westernizing The Eastern

    A couple of buddies over atRelicForums started a competition to create "Mortar Head" anime robots.

    I took up the gauntlet, and have thus far created these:

    First ideas, in order of genesis.

    And then, after a bit of tweaking, the finalized version.

    However, I (and they) think it still could use some polishing form-wise. Anybody who could offer some advice, I'd appreciate your input. I do realize it's a bit flat, but I intend to do most of the volume modelling during the colorizing process.

    It looks pretty nice. Some colouring would make it more interresting, though..
