Don't be embarassed. :-) Keep going!
I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.

Hi Crisis,
Nice works! The spirit in house is the best from my point of view
Now don't be emberassed, I am biger noob than you and still decided to create a SB
The head of your android looks strange, the right side seems to "have more brain" than the left one.
Cheers !
This is quite embarrassing, starting a sketchbook here around all these great talents. But I feel it's a great way to get better, cause I hope all you of guys/girls will point fingers and critizise my works.
So i'll start by posting some old works, and yeah critizise them to.
Seedling: U pop up everywhereI appriciate it, your'e a great help in my progress. Thank u seedling.
Kubushas: Thanks, yeah the androidhead is kinda skewed, didn't see that myself, strange![]()
Here's a new sketch, made it tonight to make sure my wacom still works. My 2 year old son decided to make an artwork with it. With a PERMANENT MARKER .. duuh.. skrubbed it with thinner but it seems to work.

Heres a ballpointpen sketch i made at work today, the quality is kinda shitty cause i dont own a scanner, photographed it with my camera![]()
quick sketches
C & C are more than welcome![]()
Some nice ideas here , Pay close attention to your anatomy. You don't have to know all of the names of the bones, and muscles but pay attention to the shapes and proportions. How they move and their relationship to each other.
ditto on what daraf said. I do like how the "spirit in my house" one is set up.
keep it up.
Daraf, will do.. trying to learn something from "Figuredrawing for all its worth".. so eventually we might see some progress.. i hope
Kuroart, thank u, will keep it up
here's an ugly sketched dude
Hey cris, nice updatesThe giant looks nice for me, but his left tit and arm look pretty strange
![]()
Gave colors a try today and i'm pretty satisfied with the result. Took me about 2-3 hours. But now i wanna hear YOUR oppinion, whats there to do to take it to the next level.
Kubushas, Left arm looks like a chicken drumstick..![]()
Another try with colors and textures
Sketches made at work today.. love slacking and earning money at the same time.
The alien is my own interpretation, so all you alien and giger fans, this is not a try to draw a correct alien, i know theres a lot of stuff wrong with it, k?![]()
Hi
Tried out Meatsworthys brush that he was so kind to share. Started doodling and it became a pirate, thinking about a background but i dunno yet.
cya
a 1 hour doo..
Some more ballpoints.. The problem with ballpoints is that it is so permanent, the soldier guy got a womens hat for a helmet![]()
Hey Criss !)
Your pirate looks great) I think you should definately put an background there ;P
But the guy's head in post #16 looks pretty overmassive for mein the back of the head)
Woah! That stuff is pretty weird, I wouldn't let my kids look at it but I like it![]()

Wagga Wooga Wagga Wooga Rah! Rah! Rah!
Hi, thanks everyone who stops by, and a speciell thanks to the guys who spend time to crit and comment my work.
Ksama, Mmm, i'm kinda into the occult, but my biggest insperation is horror movies i'd say. Love movies like, Texas chainsaw.. Hellraiser, phantasm, night- dawn- day- of the dead.
Kubushas, yeah that nr. 16 is ugly.. it looks skewed and weird, but it's only a quickie, i'll try shaping up![]()
Conceptfart, Glad u like it, and about the kids.. they can handle it .. my daughter (5 years) paints asskicking dragons and monsters and ghosts.. But it was quite embarrassing at the daycare when she had painted "The white lady who cries and cries"..![]()
Heres some ballpoints, haven't got time for digitalpainting at the time so i'm trying to get better with the sturdy ol' ballpoint. I'm having problems going back to lead pens, the ink got a hold of my mind![]()
speedy digis..
Thanks for visiting my SB.
I like your imagination, The heads designs look great - they all have something interesting in them. Focus more on anatomy. I can see that you know "where everything goes" - the shape of skull, cheek bones, eye sockets etc. just try polishing it more, think of their form more.

It's been a while. Recently started drawing again after a break for about 6 months. So here are some sketches.
Doing some interiror designs for a little game that a friend and I are making for fun. It's a good excuse to get together and drink alkohol![]()
a speedy in the night.. g'night
Certainly no lack of imagination here! Wow and you must really like monsters a lot! Have a look at some of Carlos Huante's work if you like that stuff.
Anyhows, a crit, sometimes your work has an abundance of lines, I mean too much, like having 3 lines when one would work better, I think it might be a habit. Try to think about each stroke, like you have only a few lines to play with, that way, you will be more careful each time and will end up with a nicer cleaner picture.
Anyhow, keep up with those studies mate, and good luck.
m
cheers
Magicman, hmm, too much lines, can you point out more exactly what you mean? Is it the shadowing in the sketches you mean or is it in the digital pieces? Eager to here from you since you've got a brilliant SB.
Here's another of them monsters, but anyone got any ideas how to get some different colors in there? It's kinda pink. Like the piece above, it's all purple. But color is really tricky.. som guidelines please!![]()
i like your ideas but i think the biggest issue is that you're only drawing your characters from the front or slightly to the side. i recommend trying different angles (try this site if you need pose ref.)
www.posemaniacs.com/blog
your digi colouring is coming along. try creating more of a blending effect when you paint. to show off 3 dimentions. hope to see more
ped454, you're absolutely right. I've done far to little anatomy and posing studies. So it's damn hard, i'm avoiding it like the plagueOr im rather forgetting to make intresting poses. It will be my next task.. poses poses poses.. thanks a lot for visiting and pushing me in the right direction.
Tried adding more colors to this piece, and i would say it's done, forever. But please critisize it, so i can use the wisdom in my next piece![]()
