I'm wondering how long you spend (or are allowed to spend) on each one. How much do you get done in a given week?

This stuff is seriously mind blowing. I love this sort of stuff, it gets me excited about art all over again with each passing frame and as an amateur, I look forward to working my way up to the indescribable skill level that's being posted in here. On that note, I think I leave for school early, as that's the only place I have to work with anything much better than paint ms.

anyone know if there are still art books on shelves? ive played the other two guildwars, i think im due for the third installement, i think they got quite creative with the new artwork. i liked the step in the last game, but i think this one makes the game much better for my style. M.C. Barrett: You painting style is amazingly smooth. Normally I don't like overly smooth looking things, but you bring in a beautiful simplicity, expecially with the characters. Like you only painted them with 2 or 3 colors, but they were EXACTLY the right ones. Beautiful materials as well...metals, colored fabrics, leather...you're on my list of people I would pay to just let me watch a painting session. (which also means these are going in my "to study" folder )

Prostate: GODDAMN, you're a fucking monster. All of your characters have an amazingly believeable presense, and overall a wonderful gritty texture. I would love to see a cam-tasia capture of you painting as well...Why no top spot for Prostate I wonder?

Overall...blown away, probably gonna go out and buy Night Fall...tho I have so far resisted the call to Guild Wars by the last orgasmic post of art...this one has pushed me over the edge.

Hey all. Here's some icons from the game. This is a small, small, small amount of icons I did, and only for GW Nightfall.

PS, I think I read people asking me about how long my creature concepts take. It depends, lately I'm doing 1-3 a day, because I'm really trying to improve (so far though I'm failing miserably). But most in this thread where between 3-7 a day. I used to have a rule of 5 a day at least, but rules are stoopid and don't help anyone increase their skills.

One other responsibility i have (along with doug) is doing icons. here's a few.



Bomba - hey thanks man. most of these are not used in the game. I dont usually have a elaborate thumbnail design process. mostly little doodles stuff for myself. But we do usaully present stuff in this manner and hope for the best.
