Thanks for showing your process on post 282. Cat driven killer machine, nice concept. Your brush strokes are starting to tighten up and your renderings sharper. Great progress. You have a nice new avatar to boot too.

    Nice works man.

Sincerely I don't like monsters or cyber-human characters by long time. But I have to say that your last drawing are nice for colors and dynamic poses.

    Continua così

I like the tweaky style of your last piece mate, it feels alot tighter good job!
The clothing could have some "hard" shadows, the jacket feels a little organic with the smooth shading. I really like this one though ^^ keep it up.

Man, what is it with you and Ali G? That character looks awesome -- I want to see that short when it's done. I'm sure you're real busy, but I'm looking forward to seeing some more drawings/paintings. Don't make us wait too long.

Hey Bhanu: Thanks =) You can really expect to see this dude moving around sometime in early 2008. We're all at it hard with this project.
Buckster: Absolutely agree with you on the hard shadow aspect, I will try and implement some more of those. Thank you for the feedback!
Cold: Absolutely, been checking out some Norman Rockwell stuff for inspiration on how to do the folds.
Jozulus: Hey thats good to hear man, the rendering was intended to be as close as possible to a 3d model as we could get it.
Gnoll: haha, he's a ice climber Gnolls. Right now that rendering has no equipment to make it obvious what he is. He has icepicks, a backpack, crampons, and some other stuff. Once thats added it will make alot more sense.
Fraz: Thank you for the feedback. Much appreciated.
Funfetus: Haha, I AM ALI G. thanks fetus, updates are always in the works. loel :3

Awsome work on the last post here mate ^^ you've got some wicked ideas. I would like to see some yellow in the highlights in the second piece since you use a pretty strong lightsource of that color. Finish it and make us proud!

ewww this little bugger here has fuzzy edges everywhere: http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/4...w100wn8bs0.jpg
when blowing something up from a lower res you might want to consider unsharp mask before you start fixing him up, so you can start out with some nicer harder edges and soften where you need them. he's very cute though maybe go into some details for a full render?

the WIP you've got going is really pretty nice. I don't understand the penis-thing, but that's okay. the human-tentacle arm combo seems a bit lame. I think you can figure out a better design than that. Colors are delicious.
    cheers.

hey dud! just contribewting to the feedbacks =P.
You know what you should do? a render of that climber character with the backpack ON, AND gloves, AND wrinkles, AND crampons... =) muahahaha, good stuff.

No, but seriously, need a good render wiff wrinckles befor december.

hey, you should name #87 Bahuhu.

and quick advice, you have good sense of style on most of your work, very moody, but if its not your recreational sexplosions of intense, stay away from black shadows. that big lizard guy reads very nicely because of it.

BTW why is the blog not updated? whai?

    nice sence of design, really!
I like this one alot, but the colored versions boaters me a litle. you rushed
them didn´t you? somehow it got much harder to read with colors layed on,
    a litle flat.

great job, and thanks for sharing

Buckster: dude thanks for the feedback and inspiration. I'll finish this up and post it soon!
DreaM: Hey thanks Dream , always appreciated.
Bhanu: Appreciated, its too bad I couldn't finish em. I'm going to try and refine the favorites of everyone.
Dtran: Dtran~ Glad to see you're still alive man, miss your updates Please get some new stuff up soon!
Jordy: Hm, interesting take Jordy, but hopefully it will work by the time the concept is finished. Thansk for dropping by!
Goblinsharke: Thanks man, I've been at it with the colors hard core, trying to get better with it. I can see what you're saying with the
zelda characters comment :p I can totally see it, especially with the skull/tentacle one
Pascallo: Thank you mate, really appreciated! Glad to see the work is getting better.
Enthombed: Thank you buddy, you keep kicking butts too.
Texahol: Man thanks for this, its a great suggestion. I will try and do something different with the arms (totally good point there!) I'll
see what my approach is with blowing up the creatures too, all points taken. Ciao!
RonaldK: Bahuhu it is! :3 Remember, the blog is f'ed! Agree with you on the black shadows, those are the results of trying to crank
out stuff quick, agree on getting rid of them. good render will be there soon!
Chrisly: Yeah chrisly, i can see what you're saying. I was demonstrating a way to do very quick color work for speed using overlays,
I'll try to stick to full color from now on for good measure, could always use the practice!
    Cold:
Tensai: Thank you for the kind words, Glad the color scheme worked out

Wow sirio, the last one has some burning colors. I think I like it less colorful I think the orange / light blue is a too flashy contrast.

I wanted to thank you for your helpful hint in my sketchbook. if you got the time check back for a minute, since I uploaded a new watercolor with a question for you. thank mate!
