hey if you're lacking creativity, just do some studies or copy something for the daily drawing and don't bother yourself,
all great draftmen can lay one good drawing on a heap of other

so just keep your hardwork and it will be fine

Went out today...managed to do a daily SP...the proportion isn't too good, im sure perspective is off and likeness is totally shit...still trying to work out colour as always but I think I got too lazy eventually and didn't mix enough colours to provide variation of hues...really tired atm...its 4am...I think I'll call it a day..

Keep at it mate, it's a long road but it pays off the more you work at it with the intent of improving.

Don't be afraid to use more reference( photo, video, life drawing etc...) forget all that "i can draw from my head" nonsense for now, your just stunting your growth as an artist if you live by that notion, build that library in your head first mate

So...updating a bit late...this one's for covering yesterdays...will do a SP tonight and update again

Just found out yesterday that a friend of mine is moving out of the country, it also happens to be her birthday today, since I couldn't think of anything to get her I rushed out a drawing for her. I'm really disappointed that I couldn't get the likeness down very well (looks like 3 different people urgh)...I guess drawing from facebook photos with bad lighting doesn't help but thats just making excuses...its the same problem with my self-portraits too...I need to train my eyes and work on proportions and compare more.

haha, the sp above that last post is awesome man, silly awesome. life drawings are looking good, looks like you have a feel for the forms and contours of the figure, proportions aren't too shabby either, solid stuff.

Actually, I can recognize your self portraits as being you, but only just on some of them.
