wow the buggies look great! the second page ones all look really well designed you should definitely include those ones in a portfolio if you have one, whats with the background behind the pages? is that a Photoshop overlay or just really thin paper?

Ok because of a challange I want to participate in I did a 3d model to paint it over for a proper scene

pretty much without detail but enough to get the perspective right.

Hey Kischi, I really like the Design of the Hoverbuggy. Sooo excited to see the final image of it. Don`t know the purpose, but if its for a race, you could add some advertisements similar to the racing cars off formula 1 (hope its correct ). So you have some colors, what could be a bit more interesting. Same for the Driver, specially the helmet.

hmm but your latest character need a little bit more work. try being a little bit more precise when rendering the cloth folds, sometimes it is quite hard to see what is going on.

wow, those vehicles on page 14 are looking really cool.

maybe you should sharpen the silhouette of the man and the horse on the recent painting? they seem to be an essential aspect of the painting, but they're not defined in a way that would separate them from the background etc. everything seems of equal importance, which is quite unsettling for me, and I don't get the "point" of the painting that you wished to communicate.

I like the overall design of the cowboy. but I think it has too many unnecessary lines (for example the rendering of his pants, his eyebrows, and the wrinkle next to his nose) that pull too much attention from the big picture. what you should do is sculpt it with abundance of tone in a simplified manner, and when that's done, pick out points of interests that you want to emphasise. there's some trouble with values too - the core shadow of his pants is much lighter than the shadow side on his head, even though his pants and head are pretty much the same in local value.

I really like the most recent update with that orange vehicle, keep going!

Wow love the techie stuff in here, always jealous of people who can pull it off so well, especially the hand-drawn work!
Two small things are standing out to me, that scale character standing there seems skewed or something, or at least the helmet does, i think its cause the spike on the right oh his helmet is higher than the left? The other thing is the sloppily painted ellipses, theyre such a focal part of the design that even the slight wavers in the curve stand out and take away from the solidity of it.
I absolutely love that design though, very interesting and unique shapes and operation.

    Keep it up!

digging the design on this last vehicle ! I find it quite interesting.

I think you could be a bit more careful on the rendering though. It's looking a little bit dirty and muddy atm, I think if you could keep it all cleaner and simpler. Also, not sure if that's supposed to be a transparent canopy that closes over the pilot (logic would assume that it should be) the way it's rendered now doesn't look transparent.

I would imagine you know of Scott Robertson? if not, definitely check his stuff out as I think it could be very beneficial. Especially his gnomon DVD's if you possibly can, they are absolutely gold
