and some more buggy concepts
wow, I seriously digg those concepts. Gotta try that out some time soon. *puts in memory box of things to draw and projects to start*
Krato:Hey man really dig you like them. Have really much fun doing these recently, and it's just thin copic paper and a book on top of it
HON!X:Thanks a lot!!
Hive_minD:Thank you, and yes my own box is full of stuff to do.
Ok I'm here is my first hoverbuggy inspired by bugs and insekts - more to come!
Ok because of a challange I want to participate in I did a 3d model to paint it over for a proper scene
pretty much without detail but enough to get the perspective right.
Hey Kischi, I really like the Design of the Hoverbuggy. Sooo excited to see the final image of it. Don`t know the purpose, but if its for a race, you could add some advertisements similar to the racing cars off formula 1 (hope its correct ). So you have some colors, what could be a bit more interesting. Same for the Driver, specially the helmet.
yo mate!!! your industrial design looks damn awesome!!! thanks for the sketches.
Your characters are very good in the sketches and with some more training in the values and such the digitals will become great.Great work in overall!!!
keep it up!!
Marcelloo: Hey thanks so much, I'm a big fan of your work. Yeah some fancy colors and stripes would be a great idea!!
alexson: It's so cool you think it looks like a super fast little bug - our task was to study bugs and create something out of it Thanks
Fumble: Hey thanks for the advice, you are absolutely right and because of that I reworked him.
kingkostas: I'm on it thanks so much your sketchbook is great!!
Vritra:Thanks I'll do - promise, just getting warmed up.
just two guys and the reworked driver dude. have fun
you've a really good feeling with mecha, really cool.
I reall like the character sketch at n. 423...freaky!!!
dleoblack:Hey thanks man, wanted him to be really badass
monsi: Thanks very much man, thats really motivating!
kingkostas: Here you go, still wip.
Hope you like it - more to come soon I promise!
HArd work on the last one paid off, but...
Those bussy concept are fookin awesome! I'd like to dl them for inspiration purposes if possible?
Great mind you have for these mecha things... talent!
wow, those vehicles on page 14 are looking really cool.
maybe you should sharpen the silhouette of the man and the horse on the recent painting? they seem to be an essential aspect of the painting, but they're not defined in a way that would separate them from the background etc. everything seems of equal importance, which is quite unsettling for me, and I don't get the "point" of the painting that you wished to communicate.
I like the overall design of the cowboy. but I think it has too many unnecessary lines (for example the rendering of his pants, his eyebrows, and the wrinkle next to his nose) that pull too much attention from the big picture. what you should do is sculpt it with abundance of tone in a simplified manner, and when that's done, pick out points of interests that you want to emphasise. there's some trouble with values too - the core shadow of his pants is much lighter than the shadow side on his head, even though his pants and head are pretty much the same in local value.
I really like the most recent update with that orange vehicle, keep going!

ruuhkis: Hey man thanks for your time, absolutly agree with your points. I will keep this in mind. Cheers
Ok here we go. This is the plott Ive done for a uni projekt called create your own bug. The task was to get inspired by bugs and insekts to create a design! Have fun.
Wow love the techie stuff in here, always jealous of people who can pull it off so well, especially the hand-drawn work!
Two small things are standing out to me, that scale character standing there seems skewed or something, or at least the helmet does, i think its cause the spike on the right oh his helmet is higher than the left? The other thing is the sloppily painted ellipses, theyre such a focal part of the design that even the slight wavers in the curve stand out and take away from the solidity of it.
I absolutely love that design though, very interesting and unique shapes and operation.
Keep it up!
digging the design on this last vehicle ! I find it quite interesting.
I think you could be a bit more careful on the rendering though. It's looking a little bit dirty and muddy atm, I think if you could keep it all cleaner and simpler. Also, not sure if that's supposed to be a transparent canopy that closes over the pilot (logic would assume that it should be) the way it's rendered now doesn't look transparent.
I would imagine you know of Scott Robertson? if not, definitely check his stuff out as I think it could be very beneficial. Especially his gnomon DVD's if you possibly can, they are absolutely gold
