As-wire, nice updates, those mouths are looking fantastic. I hope you are taking it upon yourself to draw from life and photos, more than drawing from your head. Even painting objects will help You understand how light works, and forms better. don't stop drawing! post #50 is fucking sweet.

    Good!
The faces are getting better. The proportions on the profiles are easier to read.
Though i think doing some life studies like you did earlier would help you lots.
    Keep going !

the thread is already quite high, so this isnt technically a bump, was quite fond of this sketch so it's a just a little addition.

    prep for a longer piece!

wow dude... slow down!!! drawing a lot is always good but bustin out 20 drawings a day just for the sake of it wont get you as far as it could...

Take your time... Check what you did wrong the last time.. and then do it right or better in your next drawing!

+the standard advice that you should still take very seriously: Study anatomy, study light, study perspective- aand try drawing with a more continuous line.. your broken lines sometimes cause your forms to distort...

keep going but thing about where you are going!

thanks for the encouraging comment in my sketchbook...you keep working hard too, i can see you improving...but as others have said...try to spend more time on each piece correcting errors you see and such, learning from mistakes can be sometimes the most helpful

    Hi!

You've got some interesting stuff happening, but there's this weird dissonance of quick-and-messy scribbles of barely connected forms and skillfully executed pieces. Definite improvement over your previous sketchbook however!

I do absolutely love the brown one on Dec 12!

The first colored guy is looking good. Nice and clean.
The enviro is interesting. But show some variations in the sky, like telling us from where the light comes from etc...
On the Td piece.. be careful with the lips !!! (avoid outlining them too much )
    Keep it up !

Hey dude. With the unposted TD piece, just a few nitpicky things. The lips on both of the main characters is out of perspective, as you can see with the little centre dippy bit. Also, the glasses on the old man are off too, if you look at a person side-on with glasses, the lense is just flat, or pretty much. Whereas you've made it almost like a front view. One more little thing sorry, heh, is the red well? Is it luminous?

On the other hand, the colours are nice, and very interesting how you used the texture on the old guys face.
Keep it up dude, good progress with the digis.

edit: oo the SP. well, the eyes are a tad crooked. Good values though. I think you've made your nose a tad too big, and the face a little too wide. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

haha, the TD entry is DRIPPING with flaws, was too lazy and too ambitious.
crits taken into account, the well is supposed to be luminous yes.
again, the mouth is truly fucked up and the glasses...well

    thanks man!

haven't managed to get back into the sp but for gods sake i WILL.

    some sketches

    with the woman charcoal:

i went over it, even though i felt it was quite a nice study to help me get braver...need stuff to be bold so i made the hasty decision of possible ruinment

ordered some new books too =]

ps. the sitting woman was a mind sketch, hence the amount of lines...
