    haha Reminds me of one that showed me in his cellphone a picture of him as Ghost from CoD, Dude spent a small fortune on the prop gun and all. Actually the outfit was kinda cool, the man took his hobby to heart.

    I have already met more nutty people than i can count, more than i would ever care to meet. Some are ok giving in their thing and just have some loose screws, some teachers that are not so good in their own work do put up their class fairly well and give you encouragement and say usefull things, and others are just the whole package of wrongness.

    @ReneOchoNueve

    I'm having a very similar situation in the sense that I'm not learning anything of practical use for my work. The program in my university for painting is really weak, right now I need 3 more courses of painting to graduate (already took Painting I and Painting II) and there wasn't any other courses except for Large Format Painting. That means that if the situation keeps going this way I'll have to take multidisciplinary courses like for example "instalation" or "performance" to fill the requirements for the "painting courses". I realised too late that it was an error to study painting here, I would have go to History of Art or Literature which was more practical for my work in terms of themes and context and in the pure sense of learning something which is not happening in the Fine Arts program that I'm doing.

    Anyways, I decided that I will finish the degree anyways, there are only two semesters left and I'm not really paying any money because I have grants and I enjoy the campus enviroment enough to stay for two semesters more. Also I took alot of courses on literature, history and philosophy that I don't regret taking and were worth the time. Another reason is that my dad didn't finished university in his young years and I want to give him the satisfaction to get that degree because I know it means alot for him. My plans after graduation would be saving money to apply to an academy like the Illya Repin Academy in St.Peterburg or the Russian Academy of Florence, or perhaps a more viable one which is to take a few workshops and work on my own from there.

    Anyways here is what I came to share:

    The bad teachers thing. I've seen that a lot. I've met people who had paintings lying around their house, and I'm with family. They then tell me "Oh I have a masters degree and teach at this university".

    While I sit there and hold it in as hard as I can from laughing. I know there are those teachers that are amazing at teaching but their work sucks. But when you have a masters degree and are teaching at a fairly prestigious university but your work looks like that of a 5 year old..... seriously?

    I wish I remembered the guys name and his website.

    Then the irony is I've met some amazing artists, that actually were inspiring looking at their work, and they taught at a community college.

    This vicious, cyclic attitude in the comics industry about "dedication" is getting ridiculous. Someone please do a head-on collision with Rob Liefeld. You don't have to stay in the car, just jump off of it right before colliding.

    Behold, the world's largest rabbit at 46 pounds.

    Ralph comes from a huge family - both his mother and father previously held the world records for largest rabbit in length and weight. And though he's already the biggest bunny in the world, Ralph is still growing! No one knows how immense this ball off fluff will get, but however big he ends up being, he's sure to still be 100% adorable.
    Yeah, breeding giant rabbits, that'll end well.

    Yes, this is movie really exists. Also, DeForest Kelley's in it.
