    Hi J.Peckham,

    If you remove the .jpg at the end of the link it seems to work fine as a link. Or else the viewer will have to cut and paste the link to their address bar to be able to see your image. Try using the IMG button if you want to post the image directly on to the thread like this (add the .jpg at the end of the link address though):

    Usually free image host have a memory limit on how many bit you can load from their free host every month. If too many people look at your post, it might shut down till the following month.

    I like the clown a lot better it's softer and has more variation in value. I do like the line quality of the figure, yet I don't think there is as much change in value as the other piece, maybe it's the scan? I would have liked to see you develop the drapery in the figure as well, not defined, softer like in the clown piece, I think that and with a stronger light would add a lot of drama to this... I know they are just exercises, however you'll begin to think about these things as you get better... good work though, keep it up!
