    Nice stuff man keep posting.
Don't accentuate those wrinkles in the face of the girl it makes her look older than she realy is.

    Hey Timothy !
Good start. But i second what uziel said, work more with the colors instead of the lines when it comes to faces, or at least make them very thin and accurate.
Show us some more studies also. Your lines seem a bit confused sometimes, unless it's something you're aming for.

Thanks for the crits guys, I can see what you mean about the wrinkles. I'm like a kid who can't take the training wheels off his bike. I find as I paint I need those dark lines there to guide me, to accentuate things that I am unable to convey with strokes and technique. It's frustrating to say the least...but I'm trying to get there..practice....PRACTICE!

That dump is from present to '04, it's kinda neat to see the progression.

Got a nice style, kinda like comics. Doing great, but you need work on your anatomy. Hope to see more. Keep posting.

    Don't get stuck....sort of.

    Hey Timothy,
The only problem I see here is heavy outlines and originality. You're definitely proud of the six pack aren't ya!? (Christ, wish I still had one) I mean, yeah, you got the anatomy down pretty well. Now it's time to change up the mindset a little bit. KnowwhatImean? Try to throw a little bit more of your Psychi in there as opposed to yourself. Realism goes a long way, but it get's boring after a while. Go for the variety. I too taught myself to do this shit, and all I hear these days is, "Show people your story!" Show us what's going on up there besides the hot chicks and good times that you're having working that fukin desk job. Just go for it man. No holds barred. No holdin' back. Live up to that Conan avatar you got going on there.

    scorge,

Thanks for the words bro, I definetly need to put the bullshit aside and broaden my horizons...I'll add to this response tommrow, I had a nice thought out one with questions, but it asked for my login again, and *poof* a half hours worth of typing gone...fuck that sucks.

exelent sketchbook you have here, it has a unique look and "feel" to it not sure if its the developing style and look of the works in here or if its the light hearted humour throughout. very good though!
