Hey,

Wanted some serious improvement for myself, so I decided to redescover my SB. Feel free to be completley honest and dont worry about being harsh. I can take it, and I need to hear it.

I am gonna try to keep updating this thread, for my own good, but so far it has proven to be a wee bit of a challenge. But here's a few more...

This one is in COLOR! (yay) I am cheating a bit here tho. It's an old digital sketch that never got finished, I am hoping to complete it soon, for no other reason than to JUST FINISH!

Love the color sketch, even if it's old, I really hope you finish it

The inks are great as well, do you use a brush for them?

You are so great! I hope I finish that sketch too...only time will tell. But you can be sure I will post it if I do complete it.

As for the inks I have fallen in love with a pen brush that I got a while back and I refuse to use any other. It keeps its tip for a long time and the ink is a nice solid black on lots of different papers. Its a Staedler Mars Graphic 3000 duo. I know...wordy. But it is really hard to find and if anyone is interested in this pen, online is prolly how you would have to get it.

It was done both on paper with my brush pen, and then colored digitally.

WOW!! O.O! really, really lovely poses, hair design and costume design. Bringing it all together with lush changes in line thickness! really impressed! Great knowledge of anatomy.

Woah, I'm absolutely in love with these! I'm in awe over those vibrantly energetic brushstrokes! I also love the atmosphere of that first colour sketch. Keep it up!

Heartbeat: Thanx! I like that you described my images as dreamy. I do like my stuff to have that quality to it. So, its nice to hear.

Lot:Thank You, It's actually a pencil drawing that I scanned in, and then colored in painter digitally. I use a different combination of brushes, mostly b/c I am trying out different techniques.

Entroid: LOL!! I am glad you like it...I am a big fan of yours too. Thanky for the sterz!!

Felicia: Hay thanx! That website took a while to put together, so its nice to hear that you like it.

WaiPang: Thank you, and yeah I do love me some sci-fi. Both in books and on film. Although my favorite author is Neil Gaiman, and he is more of a fantasy writer. But whateve, if its a good read, and it sparks my imagination...I'll love it.

Katfayheirti: Thank you too!...You have some really nice stuff in your skitch book too. You are lightyears ahead of me when I was 18, keep it up girl and you will be a pro in a matter of a few short years. Thanx for dropping by humble SB.

I definatley plan on being more prolific now that one of my jobs has giving me a bit of a break here. But for now, this is all I managed to squeeze out of myself on the BART train. I think I will add more to the same sketch to make a whole page of just head studies. Anyways...

Beautiful. I love the face in the bottom left, the shading is really cool and I like his melancholic expression a lot. Your inks are awesome, girl, but you're also great with the pencil, nice value range you got there!

If you actually complete the page, you could post it a bit bigger you know...

i saw your image in the ladies calender's place and was really excited to see if you had a sketchbook... i was thrilled to see that you do! though i was a little sad to not see that many images of your art in it.

i dont know why you dont show us more of your very awesome work!
i really LOVE your style and sense of drawing abilities. the colors are really looking amazing too! wow, your strokes kinda' (just kinda') remind me of Kara's (Iconophobian) strokes.

keep it up and i want to see more!!! you got a new fan now... cheers!
