looking good! try to keep that rendering cleaner tho, don´t just scribble the shadows in, make the strokes follow the same direction, or the planes of the form!

i like the thumbnails and the figure drawings
i would love to see some other lightcolors for your paintings it would make your subject pop out of the background some more

Thx for the crits. I dont put faces on them in a sketch, cause its of no importance right now.

Wrong. Study everything you can. If a picture can be a face study and an anatomy study, then make it both.

Industrial design seems to be your strong point; all your ships are fantastic.
If you're trying to wean yourself off lines and get more comfortable with a painterly approach, then do a few paintings using no lines whatsoever. This will force you to adapt.

The head of your freaky freak reminds me a bit of that 'brain'-bug in Starship Troopers .
One small crit though (plz ignore it lol): in post #130 I think the foot on the middle one is too small.

oh yeah i was thinking that after the examinations we should start again with the speedpainting sesions if it's still possible. I learned a lot from them last year.

Nice sketches! And i see the painting is starting to get very nice also, the robot and the beast work. I agree with Polydrawer on those speedpainting sessions, they where lots of fun last yearn i might drop by a few times again
