Thinking of starting a new thread... Starting with paintings and sketches from the headless series, and munkey thugs.. and other continuing projects in it.

this book has scaired me deeply, but that was around page 5, but i grew to love it around page 9. love the form you achieve, even when your figures are blatently distorted and abstract they retain a sence of volume that is very well considered. the headless series made me laugh aswell (im not sure its ment to however!?)

the recent digital studies are really nice aswell, particularly the hands.

    keep on rocking.

Dog faced- Thanks a lot man.... well I guess thats how a lot of people get into my work, they see the horror element and then they chose to either stay because that is interesting or go away simple because they are scared or repulsed by it.
But then I think the art should also be immersive, the surface itself should not tell the story and most of what I do is beneath the plastic surface.
The headless series is supposed to make one laugh, kind of with a dark humor.
I always say that humor and horror are two sides of a coin.

I am still working on the technical aspects..but I also think there is a learning curve that I am climbing.

Thanks a lot for looking through the sketchbook.

BTW for newer works head onto the newer sketchbook
