Matt- Yeah I am trying hard to put my linework...but it so easily gets muted because of the colors...I might wanna use different sort of pen... you recommend something?
And yeah I am also trying to use brushwork on the lines at places.....will try more of it.

well, IMO, visit a lot of hentai/anime sites and send them some of your best pieces. some of them might actually post career opportunities. the request for this kind of art is huge in US and Japan and I don't think there are so many good artists. check the freelance section of CA (I'm constantly watching that even if I still have a lot to learn), I think it was an old post there (for anime artists at least). but, they might require cleaner works and you might consider becoming a bit more.. commercial if you want to sell yourself to them. by the way, I noticed you like traditional art. my advice: use painter as it's closer to it but less messy and much much faster and cleaner. I assume you already have a tablet?
let me know what you think about afro samurai. also, it was a similar style version of aeon flux (anime, not the movie) which is very close to your style and you can find a lot of inspiration there. those guys are huge talents.

Dude, don't get into the hentai shit... blah. I'd hate to see you do nothing but sex stuff. I dig it but I love some of your other shit too... like that bicycle one. If you start doing a job like that that takes up all of your time you'll start to just do the work stuff and not advance in your own work. My advice would be to go get a 'normal' job doing whatever and only work as much as you have to... using all your freetime to advance your paintings.

well yeah.. everybody's right. except, nobody said you have to quit all you're doing and which is who you are, and do exclusively anime. but, a freelance job from time to time might give you some good dough. and anime doesn't mean necessarily porn or sandy bell.. you guys should definitely take a look at afro samurai, ghost in the shell etc..
