last one was my attempt at the COW - hyperactive is the topic.
i was thinking along the lines of his noodle like head needs to be so hyper active because he feeds on different particles in the air and hes got to feed that fat body!

2nd to last one, does it appear to be that you're looking down at it? hes climbing up a cliff.
decided on the POV after i arleady drew the char so it snot fully thought out hhehe

there's big improvements so far! continuing with studies like you're doing will let you get the hang of human proportions in no time (the closeup face on the left in in this post is very good, compared to some of your imaginative characters), so i guess it's all about practice. keep it up

Wow dude! Crazy improvement and kick ass posts since I've been gone!
Good to see the life drawing; the angular style is really working for you, though it'd be cool to see some organic lines in the life drawing. Keep up the life drawing.
Industrial design stuff is kicking, and that weapon is sweet. I'd love to see it in action.
This was the perfect thread to visit right before I attempt to draw tanks/mechs...
    oh, here's my sketchbook.

Also, my website. It would get beat up in a fight.

Nice! This is soo much better than your previous digis! Only problem i see is that i think the secondary light coming from his arm is too bright - it would read better if that leg was still in the shadow mass. Other than that it's rocking out of control! Great to see your improvement, keep it up~

Hey, you asked me how you to from grayscale to full value, and color it without repainting. So...earlier I usualy built forms with details ( after that I added layers colur, multiply, color dodge, overlay), and sometimes I lost it, so in recent jobs I draw with no particularity, try to work harder with colours.

    Thanks for comms

PS. I hope you understand me, my english is poor

    erro.
cant not post in the month of april, that'd be soo bad.
so what have i been up too?
well, not much really, i've been relaxing before the storm that we all know as finals. I've done some sketchings, lots of thinking, exercising. Most importantly, I've been looking for a summer job to bring in the rent money. Yeah, fun i guess.

the other day, wedensday, my Human Factors class to a trip to the Natick Soldier Center RDE&C - its basically a relativly small military base where they conceptualize, develop, and test the products soldiers are given to take into theatre. It is basically my dream job, and i got to visit it, amazing day. We got to see the new fabric they are using for the military suits, 'universal camo' we got to go to the biomechanices room. this place rocked, they have all these sensors and a work out area, what they do is equip soldiers with thier new gear, and they perform exercises and rate... everything from the preasure on your heel when you step down, to your breathing. I got to run around with a 40 lb kevlar and carbon fiber vest with a 40 lb backpack. It was pretty sick, i couldnt imagine wearing the 120 lb backpack the marines use! THEN there was the3-d anthropometric scanning room, where a person suits up in spandex, stands on this stage, and four scanners go up and down the body, and the image it captures is sooo life like its scary! they're in the process of developing a 'video game' to simulate doing chores while being shot at using the unreal tournament engine haha. okay i could go on for ever about this place, it's so fking awesome and im applying for an possible internship i can there!

k so i got some sketches of random shit, mostly done in classes that bore the shit out of me then i did some random color....things testing complementary colors and how they can act as shadows and high lights. ima do some more, i can see it being very beneficial learning these so they stick in my head.

thanks for visitin! dont forget to leave a comment!

    K, here's a biggy!

So i've been chillin, keepin busy.

working on some webdesign, can be viewed at www.dsglass.org
It is one of my co-worker's portfolio, she is a Glass Major here at Mass Art, and graduated two years ago...maybe?

Been thinking, but not really doing anything for the Deep event going on here. I found it annoyingly vague, and hard to work for.

I have uploaded my the boards I used for my presentation for my final reviews onto my FTP. They are large images, and currently are unworked for viewing on the web, but soon i will have a written presentation that works with the images so they can go on my online portfolio.
    You can view them here
    The Cat tower
    The Water Pitcher
    The Norelco Razor
    My Service Idea

Okay, so here are some drawings, some paintings, I am working on my discipline, and Painting 1 / 2 small still lives in black&white a day. Hopefully i can keep it up, and also my daily gym routine =D

    Enjoy!

Ps Wow this is a doozy. sorry!

Nice stuff in here mate! Just a few points I think you should work on:
You seem to use a lot of straight lines. Nothing wrong with that but try throwing some curves in there. Also be more carefull with your constructions. It seems to me that you get impatient and rush to the details in most of your drawings. I think you should do more drawings from observation and try to understand the overall forms as well as the details. Do more research on common things such as those aircraft and tanks and try to understand how they work and why they're build that way. Having that knowledge will make a big difference when you are coming up with designs. I hope I'm making sense here. Just keep working hard my friend!

been teaching a computer animation class at my college for some high schoolers. firs t time in the field, its pretty fun =D the kids are having fun as am i. I haven't been drawing as much as i like due to mainly laziness and i've been attracted to team fortress 2 the past week or two.

i've got to stop trying to conquer the world, and just float on some clouds above it.

    keep shit simple, eh? =D

    hmm..

i feel like i have not drawn at all this summer, but looking back, i really have done a good chunk of workin'.

currently updating my portfolio with my industrial design work from the school year. I will post it as soon as its done on here.

so I HAVE actually worked on that digi, i 'finished' it, meaning i was mentally finished with the piece so I called it done =D, time to move on!

I am working on a character now, I have noticed he is sort of a mix between a vortigon from half-life , and a prophet from the halo series. But i am going for some sort of being that is very smart, but arrogant and condescending. His species talks through with their minds. I haven't decided if they should have eyes or not. But anyways, i figure i should paint this guy up soon, or at least do some test runs with him on the comp.

I started to think about his companion but haven't uploaded the pictures yet.

So here is a large dump, hopefully it will cover for me not posting in a month, haha.
